This property was the first home of my grandparents, Licho Mena and Rufina Venegas. Today, as his second grandson, I have remodeled this space to honor his efforts and share the Mena Venegas legacy with you, adding my personal touch. By staying here, you not only enjoy a comfortable stay, but you become part of a story that has been passed down for three generations. My wish is to preserve my childhood memories, share them with my children and with travelers who appreciate places with soul.

The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.
