The nearest mountain peak is Bånseterkampen (1220 meters above sea level)About 30 min walk from the farm. Outside the cabin wall there are great groomed ski slopes. The trail network is connected to Skeikampen, Kvitfjell and Gålå

Large, modern cabin in a great mountain area on Gålå

Bring the whole family to this unique cabin with great nature experiences in summer and winter! The cabin is located at about 900 meters above sea level with a large natural plot and with a lovely view over Gålåvannet. The plot is 1500 sqm and borders hiking terrain and hiking trail, well suited for the whole family. In winter, there are groomed ski slopes nearby and you can strap on your skis outside the cabin. Easy access by car. The cabin is well equipped and contains a living room/kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, sauna, loft/TV room, sports shed and interior shed.

Enjoy wonderful days in the mountains with a fantastic view of Rondane in the north and Jotunheimen in the west. A perfect starting point for trips all year round. Strap on your skis right outside the cabin wall, or get on your bike for miles of hiking opportunities. We also have a canoe for free use on Furusjøen nearby. After the trip you can relax in the lovely sauna. The cabin is spacious, well maintained and contains everything you need for unforgettable days in one of Norway's most beautiful mountain areas in Rondane National Park.

Family comfort in a cabin completed February 2023, the cabin is located in Varden/Kvitfjell, the cabin is the closest cabin to the ski slope. The cabin has fantastic views, fireplace, cozy living room, open well-equipped kitchen and dining room invites you to cabin comfort after a long day on the slopes. The floors upstairs have heating cables, plus bathroom and hallway downstairs. Wi-Fi and TV (Altibox and Netflix). Electric car charger for extra cost. Cozy cottage with all facilities, 9 beds, fantastic location with good sun conditions and panoramic views of Gålåvatnet and Jotunheimen. Great hiking opportunities, fishing, canoeing and cycling in summer and in winter the area offers fantastic cross-country trails nearby and a great alpine facility. Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.
