The Palm House at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the northern part of Hjelmsjöborg Park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stucco fixtures, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a stone-laid patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjön's nice tennis courts. In the winter months, it can get a little cold, then you have to crawl up on the sofa and light a fire in the fireplace.

Welcome to a unique stay in a peaceful environment with a lake view just outside Växjö. Stay on the raft a stone's throw out in the shallow Tävelsåssjön. Nice both summer and winter. Enjoy sunset over the lake. Open the doors towards the water as soon as you wake up. Why not both an evening and morning swim after the sauna? A unique and peaceful home in the midst of forest. In this treehouse you live up among the trees on a quiet and peaceful place with animals, birds and nature as neighbors. Here the noise level is quiet, it smells of forest and the air is clean. If you're looking for a place to unwind, you've found the right place. The house is built of wood from the same forest as the house stands in and the insulation is shavings from the floors and walls. For us, it's organic and local important to take care of.

My place is right on the beach, in the middle of nature. Close to Alingsås, Hindås, Landvetter airport, Gothenburg, Borås. You'll love my place because of the lake and the close to nature location. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids) .The cottage is about 30 square meters and associated sauna cabin with shower, toilet, and laundry is about 15 square meters. Free access to canoe for tenants. Great opportunities for fishing, motorboat to hire!
