You will not use the car in town but is will be great to explore Provence by day and return to your tranquil haven each evening.

A complete renovation provides all modern day comforts and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy after a day in Provence. The village of Menerbes (A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle) has mostly local villagers living here. Beautiful walks and cycling are popular pastimes. There are museums, an art gallery & a few shops run by locals. Unspoilt and completely unique.

Big bonus of this accommodation: You will have no noise pollution while being close to major highways (A7, A9, expressway, TGV station...) In a cul-de-sac with little traffic and not overlooked. In season, you will be the only users of the pool. 24/7.

The "Les Pierres Hautes" gîte is an independent accommodation adjoining our house: an old rehabilitated stone barn. The green environment is quiet: the property has a lavender field as well as more than 50 olive trees. An external staircase provides access to the cottage.
