The best place for beautiful days in Venice!!! Very quiet apartment with the most beautiful view of the lagoon and Venice you can have. Perfectly equipped with lots of free stowage space. 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Parking spot in front of the door freely available. Once around the corner, a bar with cornetti, a delicatessen with everything your heart desires, and a greengrocer. We cycled about 5 minutes to the vaporetto station. Was ideal. We have recommended the neighborhood to so many friends and will definitely be back.

Angelo takes pride in both his accommodation and his insightful approach. Getting a lift to and from the boat to Main Venice was a real blessing. All the best beaches we're available by bus. The promenades nearby a delight.. I found the keys a bit tricky at timed but probably just me. Great stay

Beautiful apartment, spacious and classic. Large windows, comfortable sitting area, very cosy and we felt right at home. My favourite antique style furniture, equipped kitchen and lovely dining area. Location is perfect, near the beach, and all the restaurants and shop you need is just a few minutes walk. Nicoletta was very kind to wait for our check it extra hours as we were late due to airport delay. She gave us all necessary information and was very quick to help when needed. Will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended for these who want to see Venice but hate the crowd in summer.

We were there for 12 days. The apartment was great for that. Although the apartment is on a street, it is quiet. The proximity to the beach (10 min walk), two bakeries in the immediate vicinity and a supermarket next door are perfect. The apartment has two air conditioners for the hallway (thus cooling all adjacent rooms) and the master bedroom. Thus, the rooms have a cool and pleasant temperature even in the middle of summer and you are happy when you open the apartment door and enter the apartment. Sottomarina seems to be a popular place for locals. Despite summer vacations in Germany, we met very few German-speaking people. On a trip to Chioggia, you notice that significantly more German is spoken. Chioggia is also within walking distance and a nice little town.

Beautiful accommodation on the Lido, centrally located, we were already here for the second time, felt comfortable and will be happy to come back!

The host responded quickly to questions we had about transportation, etc. Unfortunately, the accident happened during our trip and we needed to visit the hospital. The host gave us advice about hospitals, how to get there and was genuinely caring. Thank you for the loan of your apartment, we had great days on the beach in Sottomarina, strolled in Chioggia and experienced Venice. Tip: if you are in Sottomarina for several days, we recommend that you rent a bike as a guest to easily get around the area.

Vittorio was a great host who always kept us up to date with any needed information (no surprises) and could always provide solutions to any requests we had. The apartment is beautiful and stretches from the street-side facing the lagoon to the back of the top floor in a residential building. This provides a bright and lively view from the kitchen and living room and a silent and calm area for the bedrooms. It was immaculate when we arrived and offered all the amenities one could wish for (including a well-equipped kitchen). We initially were worried about the proximity to the church because in some places, the church bells ring throughout the night, but thankfully not in Malamoco. This wasn't our first time in Malamoco, and it won't be our last, and we certainly would appreciate it if Vittorio's apartment were available during our next stay.

Host was very flexible with the check in and check out times, friendly. Lived up to expectations it was a pleasant peaceful stay. Close to the beach which was never crowded, a great place to stay.

It's a charming little house. Very nicely located. A bakery is right next door. In 15 minutes, you can walk to Chioggia. Almost at the front door you can take "Raffaelo" to Venice by boat or bus directly there. Cristian provided us with the following free of charge: cola, coffee, pasta, oil, packaged croissants, cookies, 1x tomato sauce, wine, towels, toilet paper, towels and a few more small things. There are 2 TVs with Netflix and Prime. Unfortunately, the Internet is not that good, but that was also the only "negative." Cristian was always easily accessible. Unfortunately, my kids damaged something, but Cristian was neither angry nor did he want money. I hope he was as happy with us as we were with him. We felt very comfortable and thank you again for the parking and the possibility to check out only in the evening instead of in the morning. The location is really great there. You have your peace, but it is very central.

We loved the aesthetic and location of Michele’s family summer house on Lido. It’s a proper 1960s gem. Well equipped and clean. Michele was super helpful. Was nice to be a little bit away from the craziness of Venice in a chilled neighbourhood.

Great house, inspiring both from inside and outside, carrying a historical zest but also had everything we needed for a week of staying and cooking. We were travelling with friends to visit the exhibitions, this was a perfect location - easy to reach by vapporetto and away from crowds, with lush green garden and lagoon view - amazing sunset. Lorenzo and Alessandra were very responsive and helpful. Very much recommend!

Rossella and Walter has made our stay in Lido di Venezia a very cosy, comfortable experience. The place is so great and new. Rossella has really thought it through what’s needed for her guests… and gone beyond to prepare so many things for our great stay. The place is perfect! Getting to Venice is very simple from the apartment. It's spacious and comfortable. Elena left us very clear instructions for how all the appliances work. The view from the terrace is beautiful! We would recommend this listing.

When our original flat was cancelled at the last minute we were so relieved that Nena and Elena were able to give us a later check-in and accommodate us. They were both in touch on our day of arrival and we felt very reassured - great hosts. The house was lovely, lots of space, very quiet at night and we slept so well. Thank you

Gianluca is a very friendly and reliable landlord. He always responded quickly and answered all of our questions. The apartment is tastefully decorated and offers everything you need to feel comfortable. There were two of us and we each had our own room😊. The bathroom was very clean and tasteful. Also the kitchen was very clean with nice dishes and all the utensils you need. We felt very comfortable. I would be happy to come back.

We stayed 1 week in the accommodation and felt at home immediately after arrival, everything necessary available, everything very clean!). The beds - important for us best-agers - in the bedroom are very good! In the morning, we also found a cozy place for four at breakfast on the west balcony and enjoyed the peace and quiet. All the appliances in the apartment worked well! With the bicycles available (tools for adjustment available) we explored the Lido - highly recommended. The apartment is, yes, a bit outside but all sights of Venice are easily accessible by public transport (7-day Venezia Unica ticket). You will briefly become part of island life - a beautiful experience. Bars to linger, supermarkets, good pizzerias in the neighborhood. We got to know Maurizio as a nice, empathetic host and thank him warmly for the good, always friendly and prompt communication. We'd love to come back

This a great apartment with sea view from balcony, bus stop in front of it and good restaurants/coffeeshops near by. The beach is less than 10mins walking. The apartment is clean and spacious. The interior is very nicely decorated with many pieces of art! Maria was always available to respond. Many thanks Maria! We really enjoyed our stay.

An absolutely amazing apartment in gorgeous surroundings, with a fabulous host. Rachele went out of her way to accommodate us, after our train had been delayed by four hours. We came for the bienniale, but we left with so much more. The sea was just a stone throw away, we hung out with the local turtles in the peaceful garden, and reliable and quick transport connections ensured that we could get to Arsenale and Giardini for the art in next to no time (about 20 minutes). Highly recommended!!!!!

Apartment is not far from the beach and restaurants and offers enough space for 2 persons. Clean and cozy. A free parking space on the side street is minutes away. Sofa bed is not very comfortable and squeaks with every movement. Plates look a little taken away. Overall, we enjoyed Chioggia. Many thanks to Barbara!
