Well kept little unit which was perfect for the two of us and our little pup’s stay on the way from Adelaide to Melbourne.

The Miners Cottage, hosted by Rebecca is a quiet and quaint little Airbnb nestled next door to a family home on a beautiful property in Cockatoo Valley near the Barossa Goldfield's. The cottage has so much personality to it and it's clear that much thought was put into setting it up. Rebecca has gone above and beyond in providing niceties to her guests. From local milk, eggs and high quality bacon for breakfast to a convenient bread machine for one's fresh bread urges and bathrobes for drying during a post soak cup of tea. We loved our stay and thought the price was exceptional value compared to some of the tripe Airbnbs out there. I would recommend this stay in a heartbeat. Salutations, Jack

You know those AirBnBs where checkout time is approaching but you just don't want to leave? Well this is one of those places! Perched high up on a hill, overlooking a valley, Jean's place has the most incredible views. There's rarely a sound except for the sounds of nature - birds singing, kangaroos hopping by, bees buzzing. If a place to relax, rest and recharge is what you're looking for, this is your spot. And Jean is a wonderful and thoughtful host, to add to it all. Thank you for a wonderful stay! I'd love to come back some day!

Our stay with Meredith and Jean-François was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel warmly welcomed with their kind, genuine hospitality. Their home is peaceful and beautifully appointed, and they clearly take great pride in creating a relaxing space for guests. What stood out most was their thoughtful attention to detail — from the fresh breakfast ingredients to the handwritten notes with local tips. Their recommendations for wineries, nature walks, and nearby cafes were spot on and helped us make the most of our time in the Adelaide Hills. We discovered so many hidden gems we wouldn’t have found without their guidance. It felt less like a typical BnB stay and more like visiting friends who truly want you to enjoy their slice of paradise. Highly recommend staying here if you’re after a restful, enriching getaway.

I cannot be grateful enough to Billie : - she has been an excellent communicator - so accommodating to our requests and needs - prepared the place so well for us and included so many nice things to eat and drink like breakfast stuff and even wine ! - on our last day, we went down to their reception area for a walk and she took us on our tour around her entire farm to meet all the beautiful animals and gave us a bit of history which was so special !! Place was so vintage and clean. Absolutely happy and couldn’t recommend it more xx Thanks Billie !!

I NEVER write reviews though I really have to about the Barossa Shiraz Estate - IT WAS AMAZING!! So much so we decided to stay an extra night (luckily it was available). From the moment we arrived my wife & I were at peace - something we had not known for over 6mths...from the amenities to the surroundings everything you could want was on hand. They had thought of everything for the perfect getaway to the point of not wanting or needing to leave - you just wanted to soak it all in and relax. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this little spot of paradise and we will be back, ❤️

Loved our weekend stay at 3 Pairs. Golf on Friday, great food & service @ Varsarelli's & Carmels. visited some excellent wineries walking distance & got to see the Cyclists come through the main street. Thanks Mike.....we'll be back 👍

Natasha's place is just gorgeous. Historically beautiful with furnishings to suit and the gardens are just sensational. The home is spotlessly clean with every amenity that you could want. Natasha is friendly and informative and very welcoming and we wished we had stayed longer

My room was spacious, meticulously clean, with thoughtful local snacks & premium tea selection. Lee's hospitality is truly next-level - fascinating property & garden tour, then wonderful evenings playing board games with engaging conversation that made my long weekend disappear too quickly. My Papillon Betty bonded instantly with adorable Ted E. Bear - watching their joyful zoomies in the back garden was pure happiness! Perfect base for exploring wineries, spectacular caves, beautiful beaches or simply relaxing in heritage luxury. Honestly didn't want to leave this special place - genuinely felt like leaving home. we were completely at ease at Stephen's place. Close to Victor Harbor yet secluded and peaceful, access to everything Victor has to offer without the busyness and craziness of weekends. I strongly recommend Stephen's place.

Dianne's home was a lovely spot! The garden was amazing! When next our travels lead us back to Strathalbyn, we'll be back!

If anyone is looking for a cozy, peaceful and stress-free place to stay, I would highly recommend Tiny house at Prairie. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, prompt in responding and they made sure we were comfy. The location is perfect for short getaways and even longer ones if you are peace and nature lover. The whistling trees at evenings, birds singing, ducklings swimming, early morning hopping of Kangaroos, one will definitely fall for this place. Me and my husband had a great time, we would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend this cute and cozy place.

They are warm welcoming hosts that made me feel right at home. The resident doggo did her part on being a great host too. Me and my baby birds who were traveling with me slept soundly thru the night. Would definitely book again if I'm heading through Coober Pedy in the future.

Great stay overnight, enjoyed the peace and quiet and local cows and alpacas roaming around.

Heath and Astrid are welcoming hosts. Comfortable house, continental breaky, lovely quiet location. Astrid cooked us a tasty and healthy meal. We stayed 2 nights and Astrid drove us to the Breakaways via a town tour and mining area - this was awesome. Our room had an external entrance onto the beaut big patio. But it was a bit close to the communal kitchen.

Opal savanna view, is a great place with awesome hosts, very peaceful with a great view of the landscape offered when outside. The bedroom was as advertised, bed was very comfy, had a beautiful bathroom, had breakfast provisions provided with tea and coffee also available, very relaxing stop over with entertainment by great hosts, who have a great knowledge of the local area and history. I will be staying again on my next travels. Highly recommended.
