Monthly Rentals in South Brent

Stayed at Addislade Farm for three days and absolutely loved it. The house is full of character features and very spacious. Great facilities, comfortable furniture and a lovely peaceful setting. We enjoyed breakfast outside in the garden. Our hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed hearing the history of the property. Lots of good recommendations for the local area too. Would highly recommend.

The house was a great place to spend a few days exploring the moor. Wendy was helpful and accommodating when i asked if i could store my bike there, and the option of a cute but lovely and hot bath was VERY welcome after a wet day cycling on the moor. The bed is epic, kitchen very well stocked with appliances, and all bits and bobs needed but no cooking ( edible) basics beyond salt and pepper. though i understand if people leaving random food stuffs behind could be annoying for owners. The nearby Coop and farm shop / deli is well stocked, and all car drivers just bring yr fav oils, spices, herbs, basics and condiments and stuff if you like cooking so you dont have to get the basics from scratch. Really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully located studio. The host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We felt very at home and enjoyed the peaceful countryside that surrounds the property. Enjoyed being close to Dartington gardens, the river dart and Totnes. Good value in terms of location. It’s ideal for exploring south Devon and having a peaceful place to stay while you’re there. Would stay again - although studio was slightly smaller than it appeared in the photos.

Emma and Kevin couldn't have been more welcoming. Oystercatcher is a lovely place to stay and the private hot tub was perfect for us. Kevin made sure it was ready for when we wanted it. Touches such as the tea/coffee/ milk/Luscombe Elderflower Fizz made the visit and the homemade biscotti was perfect. Even the dog had a bag of treats. There was alot of information about the locality, including walks from the property and personal recommendations once we arrived. The location is very peaceful and the garden was beautiful. We will stay again.
