Relax in a quintessential Vermont location close to hiking, skiing, biking, Burlington & all things Vermont has to offer every season. The loft apartment can sleep up to 4 & is an open, two-story concept with full bath/shower & walk in closet. Parking & close to markets, shopping, restaurants, bike path, playground. Take a shower in our outdoor cedar shower or relax in our shared yard space

The Brookside Cabin

Our Cabin is nestled in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains. The Cabin is behind our family home. We are on a country road close to two towns. Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

Ideal for those seeking comfort, safety & nature, but 9 miles to Burlington and 5 mins to shops & restaurants. We are in a part of Essex that is rural (the village, Essex Junction is more city.)

Easy access to VAST snowmobile trails, within an hour's drive to 3 ski areas (Stowe, Smuggler's Notch and Jay Peak), X-Country skiing right outside the door or in Craftsbury or Stowe. Elmore State Park is 3 miles away. Hiking trails and kayaking abound!
