Farmstay holiday rentals in South Coast

We only had 1 night to stay but would have been happy to stay longer if we had the time. The outdoor bath and mountain views were magnificent - I just wish you could see the mountains from the outdoor bath! We didn't really make use of the kitchen but it seemed to be all well set up for actual cooking, not just heating up.

The great secret hideaway writers dream of. Rosie’s Loft is the perfect sanctuary for a peaceful escape, to write, read, rest, or daze at the stretch of Lake George out front as you watch the day change colour. Fully equipped with all you need. Rosie has thought of everything! And those happy hens will even provide you with the freshest, healthiest eggs you’ve ever eaten. Even in the dead of winter the Loft is a sweet, charming getaway.

Silky Oaks was a beautiful place for us to unwind and relax. It's really spacious and has pretty much all kitchen essentials to cook meals. Also a short drive away from Burragorang Lookout which was a beautiful sight. The mattress on the bed is on the softer side however no issues for short-term stay. Well worth bringing our own woodfire and carrots to take advantage of the great fireplace and feeding the friendly horses on the property. We loved being able to walk around and look at the different flower varieties. Thanks for the lovely stay!

This was my second stay at Chris and Megan’s two years after my first stay. It is a lovely, peaceful environment.

From the moment we arrived every detail about guest experience has been thought of. There are so many little, thoughtful details that truly make you feel so welcomed. My highlights were; meeting Greg who was putting the horses to bed and happy for us to wander up and have a chat and meet the animals. The two dogs Chum and Bundy were really friendly and up for a pat. Plus, the duck pond with the viewing platform and seat. So cute! The firepit had all the wood and was ready to go which I really regret not making the most of this. The personalised card, treats and breakfast was really sweet, and they provided tips on making the most of the claw foot bath tub. It's hard to find an AirBNB that still cares so much about guest experience. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the horses and alpacas in the paddock, and waking up in the morning with the view of the horses frolicking around. It's was an unreal experience that allowed us to unwind from our busy lives

Jenny’s place was recommended to us and we’re now very happy to do the same for any other prospective vacationers. Jenny greeted us shortly after arriving and gave some great recommendations of local places to eat and visit. She also very kindly provided eggs from her resident hens, which we were more than happy to consume for breakfast. Also, special shoutout to Molly the dog! The place itself is perfectly proportioned for any two sharing and set in a beautiful location with rolling hills in all directions. We were also able to enjoy the outdoor fire and sit and gaze at the night sky, completely free of light pollution. All in all, a great place to stay!

Best location ever! The host were very accomodating and easy to contact, they really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was phenomenal! definitely would recommend this stay and will be returning.

We loved the stay at Roy's Run. The apartment was cosy and nice, and great for toddlers. The apartment had a few good toddler toys, cot, change table and high chair...makes it easier when travelling with a child. The location is great, feels like you're in the country side but only 10mins from grocery, take away food options etc. Both Liz and Dennis were hospitable, they showed us around the farm, introduced our little one to the chickens, cats, dogs, goats and sheep.

A peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful setting - ideal for those travelling with pets. Joan is a friendly and accommodating host, happy to answer questions and has some great local recommendations. Don’t skip the farm tour - meeting the donkeys was a highlight!

Absolutely loved this remote stay! Located in a valley so the surroundings were stunning and the bonus was getting to pet and feed the cows and horses. The host was so responsive and very helpful, filling the generator up for us and having a good chat about local recommendations! We will definitely be back here one day, maybe not when there is a cold blast over the weekend haha! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home.

Bec’s place was a gorgeous spot to completely switch off, reflect and recharge on a working farm. The house was well equipped to enjoy our time outdoors and take refuge from the winter cold indoors. The perfect place to take it comfortably back to basics and reset!

Amazing stay!! Would highly recommend. A short 5 minute drive from Berrys town centre. Beautiful view of surrounding farms, lots of animals and greenery. Comfortable bed, efficient storage that keeps the space clutter free. Made good use of the bbq and outdoor sitting area. The books, outdoor bath and the macadamia nuts were unique touches. The comfort of guests were thoughtfully considered by the host. Looking forward to coming back!! Thanks Louis.

I booked The Barlow last minute while road tripping from Wagga Wagga to Gold Coast and I am so glad I did!! I absolutely loved my night here, relaxing under the stars in the outdoor tub with the fire going. Robyn is a wonder host, the property was clean, beautifully styled, well equipped and had lovely welcome treats.

Jules and Rob were excellent hosts. Their house and surrounds are peaceful with an amazing view. Thanks to both Jules and Rob, our family were given the opportunity to care for the ponies, ducks and chickens, which everyone loved. A highly recommended place to visit.

How wonderful to stay in the country and only 13 minutes from Berry. We had a lovely weekend at Therese's barn. Those peacocks are really gorgeous.

Wow, had the best long weekend for my special birthday with friends. The property is very well appointed and stocked with everything we needed. Mary and Lee were delightful and helpful in every way. Due to heavy rain in the week prior, Lee gave us a tour of their farm on his quad truck, which was so much fun, including feeding their cows. His stories of the history of the farm and area were informative and humorous. Quality of bedding, towels etc very high. The views are amazing and very close to town, wineries and easy walk to nearby beach. Fire pit and stargazing was fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and book again. Thanks Mary and Lee, what a gem you have created!

Thank you Stewart and Melea for such an enjoyable getaway for our anniversary. The peacefulness and beautiful surroundings was just what we needed and we appreciate all the personal touches. Every night we looked forward to indulging in the delicious caramel slice by the fireplace and the take home candle was a lovely memento. Our kids had a wonderful time in the cottage, watching the horses from the yard and we were lucky enough to see a large group of kangaroos one afternoon which was extra special. Huge thanks for being so responsive and helpful when we needed it.

Our third time staying at Central Tilba and feels like we are coming home. Exceptionally tidy, always clean and everything you can want or need, in either summer, spring or winter. Tristan communicates very well and always responsive- our place away from home! X

We spent a weekend at Sassafras as a family as a surprise for my Mum's 70th Birthday. It is the most beautiful and private location for anyone wanting a true country escape to unwind. A stunning home nestled amongst rolling hills and greenery with breathtaking views. Huge house with a beautiful relaxed vibe, plenty of room for the family to enjoy together, allowing the kids to enjoy activities on the lawn and for the adults to relax and enjoy conversaion and a glass of wine around the fireplace. Sally was an incredible host, extremely friendly, quick to respond with any question and extremely accomodating. Would recommend hands down, we were very happy with our stay!

We had a wonderful time at the Watershed! The setup was well thought out, and our kids especially loved the bedroom with the fairy lights. Meeting Chester and the farm animals made the stay extra special. The peaceful surroundings and great location made it easy to explore nearby towns. We had such a wonderful time at Milkwood Barn. The space is beautifully designed, and my kids absolutely loved the treehouse! It was also so convenient being just a short drive from Berry, such a perfect spot for a little getaway.

thankyou Chris and Kade for sharing your beautiful cottage with us. We had an absolute ball relaxing next to the 2 fires with a red wine, aswell as enjoying the shed!.... the dogs LOVED exploring, running and playing...even better for us because it was so secure. I'd love to come back in spring!
