Pet-friendly holiday rentals in South Coast

This is a one off 60's style place . We felt at really home and loved it all . It is a place which is full of books, beautiful pictures , and real touches of really fine design. Okay, here and there it shows its age BUT it is a home which has been preserved and which shows real ( rather than Faux ) class. Lovely spaces and real retro ... generous spaces subdued but elegant lighting and the odd bit of quirk . It reeks of happy family times in beautiful Merimbula. We loved it and will be back .

Really great place to stay with the family, dog included! Had all you would need for a great time to call home whilst at the beach. Kitchen well equipped, practical furnishings and beautiful views right from the home. Thanks Sally and Mark!

Absolute 10/10 stay! Everything was perfect from the tiny details (robes, slippers, tea, milk, olive oil) to the things on offer (board games, yoga mats and snorkles). The house was beautifully designed and super clean, with absolutely everything we could have needed and more. We had such a good time, we ended up extending our stay for an extra night! Will be recommending to all friends and family. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much to Rob and Bede for the excellent staycation.

We had a lovely stay at Kylie’s place—it was very relaxing. The walk to the beach was nice and easy, and the local beach was perfect for our senior dog. We even had some wildlife visitors in the backyard, including beautiful birds and either wallabies or kangaroos, which was such a treat! Although it rained for almost our entire stay, we were more than happy to cozy up inside and play games by the fire.

Susannah’s place is a haven of beauty and tranquility. So well appointed. Beautiful view - those sunsets. Great communication. Super comfy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. Our family of four had the best, most relaxing few days. Bliss! We’ll be back

Kevin's house is very well appointed, it contains everthing you need, a home from home for sure. It's in a great location and easy to get about the area from the house. It's an old style cottage with attention to homely and interesting features. Lots of thought has gone into the ambience of the property. It's also a very dog friendly home and area.

We had such a wonderful time at Milkwood Barn. The space is beautifully designed, and my kids absolutely loved the treehouse! It was also so convenient being just a short drive from Berry, such a perfect spot for a little getaway.

Jo and her family are lovely and welcoming. We had a great stay. It was exactly what we needed. Quiet. Peaceful. Surrounded by nature and animals. Beds were very comfortable. Jo made fresh sourdough, provided eggs and vegetables. It was a lovely unexpected touch to supporting our time there. Lovely wineries and cafe's within a 15 minute drive. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful place! It was a shame we got rained down on while there but our family, especially our dog still had an amazing time. Highly recommend for a small family getaway! Thank you Mark and Sandra for having us. We will definitely be back :)

Thank you Maree.. we had a wonderful time and great experience. With lot of open spaces , pet friendly arrangements and friendly in house pets.. Our 2 year old labrador felt equally welcome and had an excellent time too.. A group of us had a lovely stay at Theresa's place, from the home made cupcakes to the thorough instructions, we really appreciated the effort put into hosting us. The place is exactly what you'd expect from the picture of the house in the rolling hills, thanks Theresa!

Karen was super responsive and I also met her husband and dog who were friendly and helpfully brought us beach towels. It’s close to a beautiful beach, feels new and clean and the kids loved having a pool. Kitchen had all we needed and bed was comfy. Thanks Karen!

This was our fifth stay at Hayley and Ben's farm and as expected, it did not disappoint! We were sad to learn it won't be available for much longer as we have built some beautiful memories as a family over the years. The location was wonderful, the property absoloutely beautiful and the accomodation warm comfortable and well appointed. The location in particular is superb, not too far outside canberra, but far enough that you don't feel like you are near the city at all. Not just that, but there are four wineries very close by, including Brindabella Hills, which is a short stroll away from your accomodation (right next door) and Nick O'Leary's Heywood which is less than 10 minutes away. Both serve spectacular food and wine and are very worth the visit. The accomodation is spacious, very comfortable, warm clean and tidy. The kitchen is sufficient to whip up a quick meal if you are planning on staying in for the night with a full oven, stove microwave and of course all the essentials like kettle, pod coffee maker etc. Aleksandra was the perfect Airbnb host, we had some extremely last minute changes of guest and she was able to accomodate our changes at short notice, really going above and beyond.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming holiday cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, cozy, and beautifully presented. The attention to detail was clear throughout—from the comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen to the lovely welcome touches like local treats and plenty of chocolates for my kids. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat and we will definitely be coming back soon !

Sylke was a lovely host and very easy to talk to. I have never seen stars shine as bright as they did that night. I was lost for words.

Great location, beautiful views, private and dog friendly. Great shack! Absolutely not a negative comment, but you have to be steady on your feet to negotiate the stairs up to the shack and the track down to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, great amenities, this tiny home has everything you need. Comfortable bed, warm blankets, great kitchen and bathroom facilities, clean and comfortable. This tiny home didn't feel tiny at all! Liz thought of everything, quick to respond to messages and she had even organised a lovely surprise welcome cheese board and wine!! Highly recommend staying here for a nice weekend away! Thank you for having us!

A beautiful little cottage by the sea. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this little beach cottage. It was cozy, beautiful styled and exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing getaway. Our host was so welcoming and thoughtful, providing helpful information about the area. The outdoor enclosed bath was such a treat, and the indoor fireplace made the space feel extra warm and inviting. I highly recommend-it was a perfect escape!

It was lovely to stay on Margot’s farm, we also got to feed the sheep which was an absolute bonus! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a private stay close to everyone to explore in the Southern Highlands.
