Beachfront holiday rental in South Dakota

We had a great time! It is a beautiful property! They had all the essentials in the house, which we really appreciated. She was quick to respond to anything we needed. We had so fun making fires and playing in the water. We also loved that we could bring our pup with us. 10/10 🎉🙂

Troy’s place was very peaceful and had a wonderful view. It is well furnished and stocked with anything you might need during the stay. Having bird books and binoculars was a great touch as there was lots of birds and other wildlife to watch. It is clean and spacious. We would highly recommend Troy’s place to anyone who wants peace and quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. Excellent accommodation!

The views from this place were absolutely stunning. I probably have 200 pictures of the same view because I couldn’t get enough of it. The lake is so big it feels like you’re on a great lake almost. super cozy. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. How to travel a bit to eat anywhere decent but it’s totally worth it for this house!!

The Lake House in Hartford is a very well kept place with awesome views of Wall Lake. The front porch overlooking the lake is perfect for morning coffee or watching the sun set - perfect!

Sarah is very responsive and accommodating all the way around. The deck is wonderful and very enjoyable. The lake was beautiful, and the sunsets were everything we hoped for them to be. There's a little area in the back for the kids to play in the water, sand and rocks. This is exactly what you're looking for when it comes to a lakeside cabin.

Great place for a relaxing weekend! Beautiful lake view and you can't beat sitting in the deck to enjoy it. Everything was clean and as described. Would definitely recommend!

Nice cozy and warm cabin to come to at the end of the day after ice fishing. Melissa was a great host and the homemade cookies were a wonderful perk!

Easily accessible, well organized, comfortable and quiet, this is easily a 5-star listing. The hand-written welcome note showed care, and there was lots of attention to detail not always found at rentals like this.

So cute! My kids loved it too. Big upstairs loft ,with a nice bathroom . 4 Beds upstairs and 2 downstairs. Spacious living room. You open the door, you are looking right at the beautiful water. The dock is perfect for fishing and enjoying the day. The space was clean and ready. We had a great time. thank you ! 🫶

We had a group of 4 here for ice fishing and the house was great for all of us. Very cleand modern house and amenities. I love taking hot showers and these showers are pretty awesome. Kitchen, party area, and bedrooms/bathrooms are all great. Would recommend a stay here.

A great cabin right on the water! Beautiful views and easy to get to. We went just to relax for a long weekend and relax we did. Good place to eat and mini-mart within walking distance. But most of all you can't beat the views out onto the lake. It was a bummer that we hit a spring winter storm or we would have spent most of our time on the deck overlooking the water. We hope to be back someday!!

Amazing cabin! Lorne & Trish were amazing hosts! The cabin was extremely clean & had everything you could need. They communicated quickly & made us have an amazing vacation! We plan to come back & will stay at their beautiful cabin again!

Very spacious home. We had a party of 16 it was very spacious and lots of room outdoors as well.

We brought a high school golf team competing in the state tournament. Katie’s place was perfect - enough beds for everyone (including coaches/a few parents), lots of room for everyone to hang out, a big yard for games, and of course beautiful views of the lake. (Our one fishermen laments not catching anything but between timing and the wind, it’s not surprising.) The kitchen is well supplied, the bathrooms are clean, the beds were comfy, the AC was a delight after long hot days on the course, and the boys appreciated the hot tub for sore muscles and relaxing. Two thumbs up from all of us. So much so we‘ve already recommended Katie’s place to friends coming for a baseball tournament.

We had an amazing stay!! The house had plenty of space for 6 adults and three kids. My kids loved the beach, pool table and air hockey table. The water view was amazing. The master suite area was huge! We booked this very last minute and Gail was so responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this lakefront property! It was one of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed. From the moment you enter the home, you are blown away by the gorgeous lake views from the kitchen, family area and master suite. The home furnishings and decor are beautiful and create a luxurious stay. The place was stocked with so much and more! We had everything we needed to cook family meals! I was impressed with the housecleaning, and felt like I walked into a brand new home. The home is well maintained and did I mention stocked! Close by are walking/biking trails to/by the lake which I enjoyed in rain or sunshine. We enjoyed the beautiful upstairs and downstairs patio, covered decks and the proximity to the water. There is ample seating in dining and seating areas for larger families. The hosts were so generous and welcoming, and I appreciate them sharing this incredible home for others to visit Lake Madison! I will definitely return to this beautiful property!
