Hotel holiday rentals in South Dakota

We enjoyed our stay at Days End! Easy check-in process due to the host sending instructions ahead of time over text. The cabin met all expectations and was a comfortable stop on our long roadtrip. Host had good recommendations for which restaurants to avoid and which were worth a stop. Would stay again!

The camp group has a strategic location, conveniently situated near outdoor activities and the city. The cabin provided privacy and comfort. We recommend that payment for the showers be made using an electronic method, as we did not carry cash and it was difficult to access. We appreciated having parking right in front of our cabin, as well as a grill, a small fridge, and a microwave.

A unique place for a stopover, a blend of luxury and remoteness (actually very close to the interstate). Just be sure to arrive before dark, because the road signs are hard to find. We had the entire lodge to ourselves, with many amenities, including a piano. Great for a morning jog or hike. We enjoyed it very much.

excellent place to stay very clean an quiet an roomy. my only suggestion for this is better directions. the road they tell you to take between the flying j an i nterstate does not go thru to there place you have to go behind truckstop

Great and affordable place to spend the night.

Nicholas and his wife own and run the place and live on the property with their children. Hill city is a great location and very convenient to Mount Rushmore and all that the Black hills national Forest has to offer. We would definitely recommend the Lantern Inn to anyone traveling in this area.

Place looks just like the photos. Dylan was helpful with whatever it was we needed. Whether you’re just looking for a place to crash or looking to relax in a peaceful/fun environment this is the place.

Communication with melissa and her husband was great and were quick to work with us after an unforseen weather issue. Would def stay here again if we get to the area

I would love to have a place like this closer to family so we could do a reunion. The community room and amenities are perfect for this!

We loved our stay!! So close to the lake, our kids loved the pool, playground and courtyard! The bar was an excellent addition too :) We will definitely be back!

It is easy to see that this is a tight knit community. This home is in great shape and was very clean.

Cute little inn right in the middle of town. We enjoyed our evening in Wall. Room was clean and comfortable and amenities were nice! Would stay again!

We so enjoyed our stay as our family toured the Badlands. It was a nice quiet area on the edge of town. The kitchen area was such a plus as we made our daily lunches.

Loved the room. The porch is beautiful but we were too tired to socialize and enjoy the view. She provided a welcoming drink when we arrived. Would def stay again if we’re ever back this way.

We absolutely loved this place - maybe our favorite rental ever! The location was lovely - super close to downtown and City Park, and we were SO happy with the rec path and Spearfish Creek right outside the back door, along with the lovely courtyard in the front. The bed and furnishings were all really comfortable and cute; and the bedding/linens were great. It was the perfect size for the two of us and our dogs to spend a long weekend in Spearfish and feel like we were at home instead of a cramped hotel room. We're definitely hoping to stay here again on our next trip!

Very comfortable stay. Clean and comfortable. Nice additions of some dishes in the kitchenette. Great walking trail behind the property. We enjoyed the local recommendations for supper at Sawyer brewery.would stay again if in the area
