The Shack is a peaceful time capsule complete with a resident wombat! Cute retro outfitting, great record collection, comfy lounge and fun games room. Fully stocked kitchen with a slow but functional oven. Lovely walks nearby and a five minute drive from the main Venus bay shops. Dan and Kat are super responsive and friendly. The views were absolutely heavenly, just like in the listing, and made the whole experience even more special. It was a peaceful, memorable stay and well worth the visit. Highly recommend!

This place is worth every penny! Major about out to Meaghan for being so helpful before, during, and at the end of our trip. She provided clear instructions on how to find the property, had a handy guide on local things to see and do, and even let me know the amazing scents she had in the house. This also has to be the cleanest Airbnb I've stayed at. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and with so many items to really make it a comfortable stay. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace (and it was stoked even before we arrived), the kitchen had plenty of utensils to allow for home cooking, as well as all your cooking basics and some sneaky chocolate treats. The cows are a friendly wake up call each morning and the house is so peaceful with beautiful views as far as the eye can see. It's also well located to a lot of tiny towns and a short drive to Wilson's Prom making it a great base for prom hikes. Finally, the king bed is stupidly comfortable and fluffy doona to match.

What a magical stay! This farmhouse was everything we hoped for and more - the views were breathtaking no matter which way you looked. the peaceful country side setting made it the perfect spot to unwind and truly relax. Hospitality was next level - warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to our wonderful host Colleen who went above and beyond with Kellie to make my 50th birthday unforgettable even arranging Kellie's homemade boxed vanilla and chocolate cupcakes as a surprise. Such a kind and personal touch! So grateful! We left feeling refreshed, grateful and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend this special spot to anyone looking for a country escape with heart and soul. You wont be disappointed.

A lovely home well located in Inverloch. Great advice on where to go for food and experiences. Easy walking distance to the beach and excellent walks. All in all a great place to stay! Recommended.

We loved our stay! The house is cosy and charming, with a great stand-alone fireplace in the middle of the living area. The beds are comfy and the kids' bedroom has a good selection of toys and board games to keep everyone entertained. The backyard is private and it comes with an amazing outside shower (hot and cold water). Our dog loved the comfy dog bed, the fenced outside space and the nearby walks on the beach and the inlet (reachable by car). We also found a very kind welcoming pack waiting for us on the table on our arrival! Georgina is a very kind and generous host, always responsive and approachable. Lovely beach house with all the modcons. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Jarrad was very responsive and helpful in helping me turn on the electric cooktop. Had a very peaceful stay and will definitely book this house again.

Our Family of 9 really enjoyed the open spaces. The Kitchen had everything you could ask for and more. The house is really set up for families of all ages to enjoy. Easy short stroll to the beach and the pool is a great size. Loved our stay.

Fantastic house! We will definitely be back to stay again. So much to do provided by the host. The kids loved all the games and activities provided 😀 such a warm property we all felt very at home. Would 100% recommend this house. Resort facilities were a bonus indoor heated pool, gym & tennis courts all an easy walk from the house. Host was amazing to deal with and very friendly! Can’t wait to return 😀

We enjoyed a beautiful extended-family filled weekend at Woodland Mirth on a wintery wet weekend. ( 7 adults & a 1 yr old) . Within half an hour of getting the fire going and heaters on , the warmth was starting to spread from the large living area and into the bedrooms & bathrooms. The garden amongst the gum trees rambled beautifully and would be a colourful & stunning delight in spring &summer. Everything we needed was available. Bedrooms were comfy & spacious and separated enough so that early risers didn’t disturb late sleepers (& vice versa at night) . undercover parking and lots of perfect spaces outside to enjoy coffees, wines or walking.

We had such a wonderful stay at the surf side serenity house! The house was just stunning inside and even more spacious than it looked in the pictures. The fact that there were three living spaces was great considering we were staying with family, as well as the two bathrooms and separate toilet for the second bathroom was helpful. We had a little trouble opening the key safe when we first arrived but the host was there within 5 minutes to help us out and we could not fault anything with the house or the process.

Our group had a great time there. The kids were very happy with the playground, farm animals , fireplace , bbq etc. Sorry for leaving quite a big mess there. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends :)

Everything was absolutely amazing. Julie was truly a wonderful person—so kind and polite. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with her and having conversations. The house was extremely clean, even better than I expected, which made the stay very pleasant. However, I had two minor issues: 1. The cooling system was quite weak. The rooms didn’t have individual split air conditioners, and the entire house only had one small split AC. During our stay, the weather was very hot, and it was quite uncomfortable for us. 2. The stones around the pool were a bit sharp, which caused some scratches on our feet. Replacing them with tiles would be a much better option. Overall, we enjoyed our time there, and it will definitely remain on my list for holiday houses in the future!

We stayed for one night in this pet friendly (dog) bungalow which is located at the entrance of the Big 4 W/Ingenia camp ground. We all loved it, including our dog. There is a small private and fenced off garden with BBQ. The apartment is bright and clean, freshly painted, the master bedroom has a very comfy bed and there is a bunk bed for the kids. The location is awesome. Just a few steps from the gorgeous beach. You also have access to all the camp ground facilities. Our son loved the indoor pool and waterslides. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the late check out option (3 pm) for a small extra fee. Will definitely stay there again.

The Treehouse was exactly as described. On the top floor it was easy to feel that you were far above mainstream life and isolated, even though you had neighbours on each side. The home was just that, a home away from home and the set up was so relaxed. Open living at its best upstairs and cosy, geneous bedrooms tucked downstairs. Toby reached out and checked in to make sure that we were comfortable a couple of times, but it was unobtrusive. Just a message, here and there. Design wise, the home inspired us as renovators and Toby took the time to answer questions about its history. We were sad to go, but know we will return. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful space. Highly recommend for an escape; rain or shine!

This is a great place to stay and unwind. it's a close drive to Korumburra town for all the amenities and Inverloch is also accessible within half an hour. The views from the studio were great and the area was very peaceful. Stay on a Friday for the weekend and you get nibbles and alcohol (we got a bottle of red wine and some cheese/crackers). Would recommend this place

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Joel and Abbey’s cottage, which was quiet, private, and had beautiful views of South Gippsland! The place was very well maintained, and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay, wish we could have stayed longer! Joel and Abbey were both very helpful and ensured our stay ran smoothly, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Would highly recommend :)

We loved staying at Rhi's house, beautiful location, great time staring out over the farm land. Warm fire box inside, which was lovely for the cold weather. Venice Bay is special place, we would love to come again!

We had a wonderful weekend in serenity, visiting the local towns and travelling to Wilson’s Prom. The location is quite remote but with Thai in mind Bryan and Clarice have the cabin stocked so well with amenities. We loved the fire for that extra special touch. Thanks for having us.

Spent 5 days mid-week in winter. Loved the peace and quiet, had the whole beach to ourselves. Place was great!!

Thank you Trish and Sean for an extremely relaxing break away. The little house was perfect - stylishly designed and decorated; comfortable; light; clean and very peaceful. We enjoyed reading and playing games of scrabble while looking out over the beautiful hills and gorgeous alpacas. We had a delicious dinner at the fish creek pub before snuggling in for a netflix movie and sound nights sleep. The many thoughtful details (fresh flowers; homemade slice for afternoon tea; fresh eggs, sourdough bread, homemade jams and muesli for breakfast; lovely bedding) were also greatly appreciated. We hope to make this a regular destination!
