Cabin holiday rentals in South Karelia

Kaikki sujui odotetusti, kaunis ja siisti kohde jossa oli mukava rentoutua. Odotimme toki että olisimme päässeet harrastamaan ulkoiluaktiviteettejä, mutta kauniit ulkoilumaastot toimivat yhtä hyvin!

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

The house is in a lovely location, close to several lakes and surrounded by peaceful nature. Great spot if you're looking to relax or go for walks. The house itself was clean and had the basics we needed. Communication with the host was helpful when needed. Check-in was smooth, and instructions were clear. Good if you're looking for a quiet place close to nature.

It was a lovely place to relax. The Host are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is nearby, so you can rest your mind very well. But this also mean, that the nearest store is 30 minutes away with car. But wen you are organized, this is a great place to stay. My friends and I love it and hope, that we can stay the next time a little bit longer.

To był fantastyczny pobyt w domu Riiki! spędziliśmy tam cudowny weekend podczas zawodów biegowych. cieszyliśmy się spokojem, naturą, widokami i świetnym wyposażeniem domu. Mogliśmy skorzystać z sauny, bani z wodą i domu grillowego. Bardzo polecam kolejnym gościom

Oli hienolla näköalalla oleva kiva mökki. Marjut oli tosi ystävällinen ja kaikki sujui hyvin. Takkakin oli jo valmiiksi lämmitetty kun tultiin paikan päälle. Jos asioi Puumalassa kyllä suosittelen vuokra mökki sieltä!

Sauna ja ranta 10+. Mahtavat, pehmeät löylyt ja kirkasvetinen lampi vilvoitteluun. Ruoan valmistaminen ulkosalla kaasukeittimellä ja nuotiolla toi retkitunnelmaa. Pihassa oli muutenkin ihanaa istuskella ja katsella järvelle. Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Hetekat olivat mukavat nukkua. Sijainti mainio: saavutettavissa ekologisesti polkupyörällä Mikkelin keskustasta. Reitti on turvallinen pyöräillä.

My family had an amazing weekend getaway at Elena's cottage by the lake. The house is beautiful and had all the amentities we needed and more. The natural surrounding are beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We would definately stay here again!

We loved our Easter Getaway at Pistohiekka Resort. Incredible views, felt right at home and knew whenever we had a question someone was there to help or support over message. The restaurant offers a small but tasty menu, stunning view of lake Saimaa and nice atmosphere. We hope to return again during summer.

Mökki varusteineen vastasi kuvausta. Paikka oli kuvankaunis ja rauhallinen, saunassa hyvät löylyt ja bonuksena upea näkymä järvelle. Kauniilla säällä aivan täydellinen paikka, kun vietimme aikaa ulkoillen ja ruokailimmekin terassilla.

A little slice of heaven this one! Just THE perfect place to relax. The cabin has everything you need (and more!) and is presented beautifully. Sadly, we were only staying for one night but managed to pack in rowing the boat, a sauna & a sunset swim in the beautiful lake. Veera was a great host, responsive and friendly. Would recommend very highly!

Tilava, hyväpohjainen mökki. Puusaunan löyly oli ihana ja terassilla oli mukava vilvoitella. Ranta on vähän pidemmän matkan päässä, mutta sinne johtaa hyvä laituri. Trampoliini ja Liukumäki oli lasten mieleen. Voitaisiin hyvin majoittua uudestaan.

Very nice cabbage with sauna and a beautiful little beach !!!

La cabine était petite mais bien pensée. L’environnement était incroyable ! La vue et la terrasse sont un vrai plus dans ce logement. Le sauna et la salle de « douche » sont très bien pensés avec le puit d’eau ! Cela a été très pratique et a rendu nos douches agréables par rapport à d’autres cabines dans le même genre. Le matin, vous pouvez même aller chercher des œufs frais au poulailler, c’est super ! Bref, une très belle expérience ! Je recommande fortement ! Le seul petit hic est la literie puisque c’est un canapé amovible et il n’y a pas de sur-matelas. Si vous avez des problèmes de dos, c’est peut-être compliqué. Mais pour le reste, tout était parfait ! 🤩

Wir waren drei Nächte zu Gast und dies ist unser erster Finnlandurlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne jederzeit wiederkommen. Es ist ein sehr schöner Ort.

Perfect holiday home! We spent a wonderful week at Vera’s place. It’s a very quiet spot with a lot of nature around. The lake is very calm and nice to swim: there’s a deck to jump from and you can also just enter the water from the shore. There’s a lot of space to hang out around the house. The house is quite big, with terraces and a long table that fits a big crowd (we were three families - five adults and five kids). We found everything we needed - kitchen utensils, grill, and so on. In addition to the house, there’s a wood-heated sauna with bedrooms (it served as the kids’ home). One thing we didn’t notice at the beginning - that there’s no cleaning included, so you need to clean before leaving. Anyway, this was not a big deal as we were many and the place is very easy to handle.

Kiva mökki, sauna ja miljöö. Rauhallinen paikka. Saimi on avulias ja varmisti, että meillä on mukava vierailu. Keittiön puolelta löytyi kaikki tarvittava ja lautapelejäkin oli tarjolla. Lammella oli mukava käydä soutelemassa. Laavu oli mainio lisä!

My sister and I had wonderful days in Hilkka's cabin. Just a lovely spot right next to the lake to relax and slow down. We wish we had booked a few more days there. It is easy to find and has enough room for up to 4 people. First we had some doubts about the door opening system via App, but it worked very well and was self-explanatory. We stayed there at the beginning of May, so we didn't use the boat, the grill and the SUP-boards - but during summertime this would be another big advantage of this accomodation. Instead we often used the sauna, loved just sitting on the bench at the dock and enjoyed the general coziness of the cabin. We also cooked many times in the well supplied kitchen - nothing essential was missing. So thanks Hilkka for having us. We will come back, if our path will lead us back to Finnland. :)

Great place to stay! Highly recommend. Picturesque location, perfect place for holiday or small getaway 😊 Very nice and cozy. All needed amenities for great vacation!

We’ve stayed here the second time and can only highly recommend it. The location is perfect. Quiet, relaxing, and ideal for unwinding. Everything was clean and well organized. We’ll gladly come back again!

Kohde oli todella siisti, toimiva ja viihtyisä. Lähialueen ulkoilumahdollisuudet olivat todella monipuoliset ja näkemistä olisi ollut useammaksikin päiväksi. Kohteeseen kirjautuminen ja kotiutuminen oli selkeää ja vaivatonta ja yhteydenpito majoittajaan mutkatonta. Tulemme varmasti vielä uudelleen.🤗
