'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

My accommodation is where we lived for a long time, and recently, I, the owner, worked for a year and a half and renovated it by myself without going through a contractor. There are 2 parking spaces, but you can use the attached paid parking lot, so you can park a lot. We offer a variety of amenities indoors and outdoors. It can accommodate up to 10 people. Please double-check the address before coming! Address: 7-26, Hwarang-ro 28beon-gil Old, traditional Hanok, so it shows its age. All bedding is always freshly replaced, and as it was my grandfather’s home, it’s lovingly maintained and kept clean. Unlike a typical Hanok village, this home is in a local Gyeongju neighborhood. Stay in a real Hanok and experience the authentic charm of Gyeongju! It will surely be a special experience. I can confidently say it will be special.

Hidden Traditional Hanok. Private for Your Family

Luxury detached hanok stay just for you! It is a 100-year-old traditional hanok in Bukchon, Seoul. It is the best independent space for experiencing Korean culture. There are many restaurants as well as convenience stores near the accommodation, and it is located near Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Insa-dong, Myeongdong, etc. (10-20 minutes) on foot. Also, it is 400m away from the subway station to the accommodation, so it is the best base camp for traveling.
