Family-friendly holiday rentals in South Savo

Le chalet de Harri est très bien équipé. Nous n’avons manqué de rien. Comme précisé sur l’annonce, les serviettes, torchons de cuisine et draps ne sont pas fournis. Nous avions donc prévu cela dans nos valises. L’environnement est très agréable et calme. Une vue parfaite sur la lac! Nous avons même eu la chance de voir un élan, moment magique ! Une voiture est indispensable pour accéder aux magasins. Pour exemple, Savonlinna est à environ 50kms. Le seul point négatif était la propreté à l’arrivée, nécessitant un nettoyage avant de nous installer. Harri a été très compréhensif sur ce sujet. Nous recommandons tout de même car nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Terrific cottage with all the possible amenities, including two saunas. One of them has windows looking over the lake. Spacious, excellent construction and quality wood furnishings, and your own dock with boat and rentable gear. The lake is the perfect size - not too large, not too small. The owner is highly responsive and provided a full list of potential activities and potential restaurants.

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

Dieses Haus wünscht man sich für sich selbst. Kari hat einen wirklich wunderschönen Ort für sich und seine Familie geschaffen. Es war wirklich alles da was man gebraucht hat.

We enjoyed the privacy and the beautiful snowy scenery to Lake Simpelejarvi. The host had made us a hole into the lake from the jetty, which we enjoyed dipping into the icy water “avanto” was a great experience :)

This cabin was a perfect break from everyday life. The place is peaceful, with a beautiful lake view. The yard around the cabin is also really nice, cozy, private, and perfect for relaxing. The cabin was super clean, had everything I needed, and everything worked just fine. I slept really well and the smoke sauna and hot tub were a great way to relax in the evenings. Lari was friendly and easy to talk to. He welcomed me personally, showed how things work, and gave helpful tips about the area. I planned to visit Mikkeli, but ended up enjoying the cabin so much that I stayed put. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, quality, ease, and a touch of luxury.

Underbart ställe, vackert hus med roliga detaljer. Fin miljö med privat strand. Rymligt och bekvämt hus, perfekt för familjeträff. Fungerande kök, med tillräckligt av allt. Det var en upplevelse att bo här. Värdarna toppen, jag beundrar allt arbete de satt på den här unika platsen.

Aarre Saimaan sylissä - tunnelmalliset, kauniisti sisustetut hirsirakennukset ja hyvät mukavuudet. Saunan lempeät löylyt, uinti puhtain jaloin ja maisemaan sopivat oleskelu- ja ruokailupaikat kruunasivat kokemuksen. Ja Marja-Tertun sydämellinen vastaanotto selkeine ohjeineen sai tuntemaan tervetulleeksi kesäparatiisiin. Viihdyimme ja suosittelemme!

A cozy house with everything you need in a quiet, picturesque location near a lake. We stayed with our 7-month-old baby and our dog. Even though the nights were unusually cool for summer, it was very warm inside the house. Communication with the host was smooth - he responded quickly to all our questions. We highly recommend this place.

We spent one night on a roadtrip and it was perfect for that. We got to cook and go to sauna and relax.

Kaunis maalaismaisema, rauhallinen ympäristö. Ranta soveltuu lapsille ja laiturilta myös kiva pulahtaa uimaan. Saunasta saa hyvät löylyt. Kaikin puolin onnistunut loma.

We were stayed in Lauri's place for one night and the stay is absolutely amazing. There are everything in out hand and Lauri is very friendly and communicative. Cleaned farm house. Only one 4 star thing is its not same like the photos as outside. Its looks like there is green field but its not every month. Anyway the stay was very nice 😊

To był fantastyczny pobyt w domu Riiki! spędziliśmy tam cudowny weekend podczas zawodów biegowych. cieszyliśmy się spokojem, naturą, widokami i świetnym wyposażeniem domu. Mogliśmy skorzystać z sauny, bani z wodą i domu grillowego. Bardzo polecam kolejnym gościom

La casa era esattamente ciò che stavamo cercando: uno chalet in mezzo al bosco, a pieno contatto con la natura, perfetto per ammirare la zona dei laghi. Eravamo proprio su un lago praticamente tutto per noi, abbiamo fatto anche un bel giro in lago con la barchetta a remi (c’era anche il motore ma non l’abbiamo usato) e la sauna tutta per noi! Stupendo!!! La sera mangiare all’aperto nel silenzio è stato meraviglioso. Quando rientravamo in casa accendevamo il camino, bellissimo I bambini hanno apprezzato in particolare le freccette e il molo sul lago. La casa aveva tutte le comodità, anche se il bagno era esterno e biologico: un buco con un secchio sotto, in cui bisognava buttare del concime tra una volta e l’altra, ma era tutto segnalato ed è stato anche divertente! L’unico neo è stata la pulizia, perché la casa non era pulitissima, ma così in mezzo al bosco potevamo tranquillamente sopportare: abbiamo pulito un pochino noi e ci siamo adattati. In generale la consiglio tantissimo!!

Hallo Aki, wir bedanken uns herzlich für den wundervollen Aufenthalt. Wir konnten den 60. Geburtstag meiner Mutter im Kreise der Familie geniessen. Dein Tipp für den Bootsazsflug in Savonlinna und die Restaurantempfehlung waren beide ober Klasse. Liebe Grüsse
