Beachfront holiday rental in South Tyneside

Our second visit to this fabulous, well-equipped caravan. Lovely view of the sea and situated close to a beautiful coastline with so much to see. A wonderful place to relax. Amazing welcome treats. Perfect hosts, quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed our stay at Longsands. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped. It was a cosy base to explore the lovely town of Tynemouth and Newcastle. It was so close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Debbie was so helpful and lovely in all her correspondence. Would definitely return.

Beautiful property in a stunning seafront location. The cottage had all the amenities we needed with a wonderful view of the sea. Nigel and Jane were very welcoming and recommended a bistro in Amble, Jaspers which was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.

Really enjoyed our stay, what a lovely place, so pleased we found this gem. Quiet, lovely walks for both of us and our dog. Lovely beach walks..perfect.. Everything so well thought out in the accommodation, had everything we need.. Will definitely be booking again to come back! Thank you to Tom and Dawn

Joanne is a fabulous host. She was both responsive and helpful. When one of us had an accident requiring hospital treatment she was at pains to do anything to assist. The house was immaculate, parking easy and location perfect for ice-cream and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable . Everything was provided for a great holiday. The neighbourhood is modern, clean and quiet. Highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely amazing place to stay , clean , tidy and lovely decor. Everything is well thought out and everything you need is in there :) Great host lovely guy and will definitely be staying again :) The patio area and garden just top it off over looking the sea . Fab views peaceful but not far away from things . A lovely park within a 3 min walk with a lake and waterfalls . Really really recommend. Great for private parking . Very impressed start to finish :)

Leslie’s house was ideal for our stay in the NE. The house is in a residential area which is very quiet but you can be straight out to the beach / cliffs or onto the Sluice river towpath within a minute. Absolutely perfect for dog owners and the Kings Arms pub which can be seen from the house is excellent. Lovely walks along the coast to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Blyth etc. We would also highly recommend the Castaway coffee house which is also a stones throw from the house. We visited to pick our son up from university in Newcastle so it was really convenient for that too, just half an hour away.

Our little family had a great weekend in the caravan, when we arrived we all commented on how neat and tidy the caravan was. Linda was helpful and the directions for find the caravan were bang on The site itself was great and we enjoyed a lovely evening walk on the beach. We look forward to returning next time we are in the area.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a lovely break. The position of the caravan overlooking the sea is one of the best on the site and it had everything we needed. We’d very happily go back for another stay.

Absolutely gorgeous caravan . The lock box for the key isn't the easiest place to access if you have trouble bending or if the ground is wet This caravan is beautiful, fantastic location, parking space and its at the quieter end of the park. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Christopher, he is a fantastic host and I would definitely stay again. Thanks Christopher

Myself, Mum and 5 year old son just stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely break! David is a responsive and thoughtful host, replying quickly, arranging for the heating to be on for arrival and even leaving lovely treats for us to enjoy! The place is absolutely spotless, super clean and well organised, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Would definitely recommend! We ventured to Cresswell Beach and White House Farm in Morpeth which is a must if you have little ones. Lovely memories made... as well as some sand castles!

Second stay at this beautiful caravan that once again did not disappoint. Lovely, comfortable, homely caravan in the most peaceful spot on a great site. We can not get enough of the amazing views of the sea, right outside the caravan. Sitting out on the balcony is one of our most favourite things to do here, with also the quick walk to the beach to paddle in the sea and make sandcastles with the children. Our children absolutely loved staying here again withe plenty to do on the site and wonderful surrounding places to visit. Lots of lovely personal touches in the caravan that make it feel very welcoming. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fab little stay in a lovely little caravan, kids and dogs had a blast. Caravan is a bit run down as described but still clean and we had a lovely time. Everything was so easy and we even got a late check out which we really appreciated. Thanks Malcolm

Beautiful uninterrupted view across the estuary to the sea and a great beach just a walk through the dunes away The lodge is at the end of a cul de sac with grassy area where kids can play The lodge is spacious and comfortable This was our second visit Once again there was a generous welcome pack but no condiments in the kitchen and I’m glad I took a cafetière A favourite place for us

Absolutely amazing stay in Hartlepool! The whole family had an amazing time and felt very at home! Alicia and her brother Ross (who lives onsite in case of emergency) were extremely helpful! Especially when there was a massive power cut. Both were extremely kind! The house itself is absolutely beautiful and in an incredible area, amazing view of the headland and listening to the sound of the water was so soothing!

We can only say extremely positive comments about Amanda and Seas the Day. The house was a home from home, we settled instantly. Everything you could want was provided and kitchen appliances were straight forward to use. The house was immaculate and well cared for. The area was quiet and in a good location for visiting local beaches and castles.We were blessed with sunshine which made every trip out, beautiful. Amanda was a super, responsive host.We thank you and wish you a happy, successful future. xl

Quiet and cosy everything I needed as I was there for work

Stayed here for a quiet stag with some friends. It was perfect for what we were looking for- beds were comfortable and the place is bigger than it looks in the pictures, we comfortably fitted around the living room area with a couple beers. The 2 minute walk to the beach was great for a kick about & a swim. The barn next door is a great option for coffees & Ubers were readily available to get to the local pub as well. The hosts were great, on hand to help and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you had a group looking to stay.

Lovely spacious house with a homely feel to it. Suited our needs perfectly and had a fabulous weekend celebrating a 21st birthday. Lovely coastal walk and great local food. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

myself and 2 friends, were on a 3 day, cycling holiday and all of us agree , the cottage was above expectations. lovely decor and all very modern and new . bathroom was very classy. location was excellent for walks along the beach and plenty of local shops, greengrocer, bakery, co-op right over the road. lots of good pubs, especially recconenf, Porters , for great beer and excellent food. Cresswell arms, excellent quirky pub, well worth a visit
