Very comfortable, convenient, peaceful spot with easy access to the area.

My husband and I were visiting my son, daughter in law and their 5 month old baby who live in Heaton. My niece was with us from Canada so we wanted somewhere comfortable, with plenty to do and easy access to our son’s home. This property was the first one I looked at. It exceeded our expectations, we loved the location, parking pass provided for the weekend. Views from rooms front and back are spectacular. We especially liked walking into Tynemouth, such a lovely place with lots of cafes, restaurants and coffee shops plus independent shops which is always nice to see. As I stated before we all enjoyed the indoor market. We had a lovely weekend.

Jean is an amazing host and definitely goes above and beyond for what she does and provides in her accommodation. You just literally need to turn up with your clothes as everything you need is supplied within the apartment. From shaving accessories to biscuits and cakes. The accommodation is set in a lovely area of Sunderland very beautiful and peaceful we didn’t hear any road noise or any noise from the neighbours it was great. I can recommend the Rosedene pub it’s about a 10min walk there is also bar at the local cricket club which is open to the public was lucky enough to catch the ending of a game during our stay. We will definitely be back to see Jean very soon we didn’t want to leave.

John was very responsive and instructions were clear. The apartment is on the third floor(staircase only) of a beautiful sea frontage character building which overlooks the promenade and lighthouse. There is a lovely park next door which was a great early morning walk as well. Restaurants , bars all nearby but area very quiet during our stay. The apartment was well fitted out, great kitchen, and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this stay

Nicely decorated apartment with everything we needed for our trip. The space was thoughtfully designed and equipped with all the essentials, making it very comfortable and convenient. The location was excellent, providing easy access to everything we needed. Friendly host too!

We enjoyed staying in Fiona & Gary's beautifully decorated well eqipped flat, and Gary helped us on arrival.The flat is just a few minutes walk to the historic centre of Bishop Auckland.

I visited Newcastle and surroundings, travelling by myself from mainland Europe. The apartment is clean and spacious and I loved that it's minimal yet cosy and light. If you're a bit more sensitive: the bedroom is situated on the side of a busier road. If you keep the bedroom window closed, there's no noise. I opened the window at night and used ear plugs - worked fine. At 5 minutes walking distance from metro and small shops. A 20 minute walk to a wonderful beach. Tomara was very friendly ad prompt in her communication and thinks along if you have a question. Recommend staying there!

Third stay at Lady Rhoda! One of the best air b and bs we have ever stayed in. We stayed with our toddler and our baby. We were able to borrow the cot - a very good one too- and it was really easy to get the buggy inside! We have never had a problem with parking either and always manage to get the spot right outside! We will be back again! Thank you!

Lovely apartment, quiet, so cozy and had everything you need for a short stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. So close to the Metro with links to Newcastle City Centre and on to the airport. So handy, no need for a car. Welcome pack was a lovely touch😊

Perfect for our stay while visiting extended family! Great fit for a family of four with 2 under 10, even though it was only 3 of us this time. Spacious thought and kitchen facilities to allow easy cooking of anything. Nice easy walk to the beach or the lees. Will stay again when we’re up if available 👍🏻 Mandy was great with communication too.

Ness was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The flat was just as expected and really nice and clean. The welcome package was a nice surprise that puts a smile on your face when you arrive. Lots of great takeaways locally and not far to walk into town or down to the beach. A really nice flat, I would defiantly stay again.

Well equipped and very comfortable flat in a quiet area close to Jesmond Dene. The kitchen was well equipped and the provision of tea , coffee etc was really generous. We had a very comfortable stay.

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!

We had a great stay at Amy’s location. Absolutely loved the style of the flat, and everything was clean and in great condition. The location was great for us, we walked into the centre a few times and used Uber to get home, which cost around £5. Amy offered great recommendations. We loved the fireplace and made us feel right at home. We also made use of the games that were left. It was such a kind touch of the hosts to leave us some treats too, which were very much appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay, and would love to come back. Thank you so much, and Happy New Year 😊

I had a wonderful experience in this penthouse with a sea view. The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the view is absolutely stunning. The interior is modern, clean, and very comfortable. Ideal for relaxation, peace, and special moments. I would definitely come back!

Rod was a fantastic host, clear instructions and very friendly. The apartment was very clean and really spacious. The beds are super comfy and we all slept well. Nigel's apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival and it was really nice to be greeted in person by the host - even though we kept him waiting - sorry Nigel. Excellent location with easy access to local bus services. That was great for us having travelled to the area by train, but we were still able to visit all the places we wanted to go by using the X20 only yards away from the accomodation and the 21 or X21 bus stop only 5 mins walk away. We couldn't have asked for better accommodation or host. All in all a memorable experience which we would recommend to everyone. Thank you we had a lovely week.
