Simply loved staying at this place, full 10 experience! The villa and its yard were very beautiful, with direct views of the lake from the big windows. The villa was very well equipped, whenever you were looking for something, it was found. Our days were kept by the songs and passages of different children on the property, as well as two cute sheltti dogs that popped up every now and then to scratch. The villa had modern solutions for even the discerning cottage maker, but also atmospheres, for example, wood sauna and tub. The lot was paid for, and it was heated when we arrived at the cottage. The beach was also good. On the large terrace of the villa, we had breakfast, enjoyed the sun, and also got to yoga! The host was friendly and responded well to our messages. The cottage was easy to find and check-in was effortless. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Peter & Aina's guesthouse. The house is very spacious and the covered porch is wonderful in any weather. The house and garden feel very private but at the same time our lovely hosts were always available to help us out. The location is great: really quiet and peaceful yet so easy to reach from Helsinki. We even had the opportunity to celebrate midsummer with our hosts which made for an unforgettable experience. Strongly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The sauna and jacuzzi were absolute highlights and made for a truly relaxing experience. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for unwinding. Overall, a fantastic accommodation that we would gladly recommend and visit again!

Comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a lovely location. The location at the end of the road was peaceful, it was easy to be neat with the dog, but in an unfenced yard. The road to the cottage is a narrow and in some places potholed, traditional cottage road. When going from the house to the dock, there are first the stairs, then uneven terrain and finally a sloping stretch of a narrow dock. The scenery and atmosphere on the spacious riverside pier are absolutely charming, you can enjoy them despite the mosquitoes. The cottage was wonderfully cool in the summer heat, and cozy even in the rain. The yard has comfortable shaded areas, such as a covered terrace. The nearest, adjacent neighboring cottage is behind the forest and the other on the other side of the river. The kitchen is very well stocked. Good steam in the sauna. The cottage is very clean. Blackout curtains in the sauna. All in all, a great place, I highly recommend it. I'd love to stay at this place again myself.

Really great place for everything! The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. The views were incredible. A separate guest room and a room next to the sauna cottage also offered nice privacy for a larger group. Spacious sauna with stunning views of the lake. The yard is really well maintained. We will definitely come back!

We had a great stay at this superb villa in Päijänne. Villa was even more impressive than in photos and everything was high quality, very clean and well maintained. Beach sauna and jacuzzi were the perfect combo to relax in the evening. Highly recommend for a getaway in nature.

A dream of relaxation - absolutely recommended! We had a fantastic time at this beautiful cottage! The house is extremely tasteful and luxuriously furnished - it really lacks nothing. We were particularly impressed by the high-quality furnishings, the stylish design and the attention to detail. The location is fantastically quiet and perfect for escaping everyday life and relaxing completely. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning, only hearing the birds chirping - wonderful! Communication with the hosts was also straightforward, warm and professional. We felt welcome from the first moment. A place you'll love to return to – an absolute recommendation for anyone looking for peace, comfort and style!

Pia and Matti went above and beyond to make out family feel welcome. The place is really spacious and worked perfectly for our extended family. The house feels like a home immediately as you step in. The uninterrupted lake view, 2 x saunas and a very nice TV room with a woodburner/fireplace make it a great stay in the winter as well. Simply a Five Star place with very nice hosts.

Peaceful and secluded home surrounded by lakes and nature. Only building close by is the owner's building, which you can see from the yard. However it is still distant enough, that you can enjoy your own peace and quiet. Sauna building was the thing we loved the most. The main building is a bit dated, but clean, well maintained and equipped with dishwasher, laundry machine, dryer, running water etc. So more of a home than traditional Finnish cabin. Beds were comfy enough. The only downside was that if you like walking around like we do, there aren't a lot of options starting from the cabin. You have to drive a car for 20min to get to the Nuuksio trails on the other side of the lake. The hosts were super kind and made us feel very welcomed. If you're looking for a cabin style experience close to Helsinki, I highly recommend staying here. Ps. You can get a taxi here, but no food delivery. Closest super market is 8km away, so you definitely need a car.

Absolutely breathtaking. Every finish and detail felt purposeful and meticulously considered. The photos are precise, and the description is exact. We had a deeply relaxing, delightful time. There’s so much to enjoy and little reason to leave: we took the canoe out to circumnavigate small islands dotted with charming gulls, read peacefully on the dock, watched the water shift with the light, and ended each day in the delightful sauna. The summer nights glowed warm and still, turning every movie into a kind of fairytale. The house itself offers many distinct spaces—each one a quiet stage for nature’s daily choreography. From the moment we turned off the main road onto the enchanting gravel path—lined with tall trees and singing birds—we felt ourselves begin to exhale. We’ve stayed in many beautiful places around the world, and this one felt truly special. The host was very helpful and responsive, and his house manual detailed and helpful.

Villa was very nice and in a great location by the lake. The large plot around Villa offered yard activity opportunities, as well as privacy. Villi's cottage was in good condition in all respects, with a whirlpool tub and saunas. The level of equipment in the kitchen was also surprising in its coverage. The setting was otherwise as described, and it felt like everything had been thought out for the guests. As a whole, the place was very suitable for the accommodation needs of our larger group. The host was very friendly and flexible, and offered us really good customer service throughout our stay. Thank you very much! 🎉

Great stay in Tallinn, its 10-15min outside of old town and was a 3-6 EURO ride to and from the city center. The Villa was Amazing! Decor was cool, the host was very responsive and the neighborhood is beautiful. If this modern home is open please stay here!

We had a stay that exceeded all expectations! The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The highlight is definitely the private pool, complemented by its own pier and a small beach, providing a perfect seaside retreat. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I was speechless when I came to Arto's home (bed and breakfast), and I still saw a couple of nights and after getting home. I can't think of a single flaw and the visit exceeded all expectations. The home was incredibly beautiful, tidy, clean, full of aesthetics and absolutely everything you need to relax, a particularly good whole home-wide sound system, air-conditioned bedroom, commodities (lovely breakfast; included quality and essential needs for our own tastes, and for example, towel and “forgetful”needs were overlooked), from the breakfast room, morning slippers and bathrobes to birthday reminders, and lighting up to a pre-loaded sauna nest. I've been skeptical of staying in an inhabited house until now, at least I'm not at this house anymore. Arto was immensely friendly, clearly wanted guests to enjoy themselves, and the same feedback in its entirety to also sign two people who stayed with me separately.

An absolutely stunning place in beautiful surroundings. The host Matti was very helpful and communicate, there is tons of space, very good amenities (especially considering the place is on an island in the Baltic!), the fishing in the area is great, the small bay is peaceful and pretty, the saunas and hot tubs are good, there are interesting historical things to see in Dalsbruk and Västanfjärd. Highly recommend for an extended family or a group of friends.

The cottage is in a gorgeous location. You'll get what you see in the photos. It is also ideal for travelers with a dog as there is plenty of space and little to no traffic. During our stay, there were regularly three cranes in the "backyard". In short, it is highly recommended for people who love peace, space and nature.
