Holiday rentals with lake access in Southern Highlands

Very peaceful and picturesque location. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Darren even set up the fireplace ready to go for us. Darren was an attentive host with very good communication. We had a very nice stay.

Jaspers Brush was even better than we expected based on the photos. The house was very comfortable, fully equipped, with beautiful country views, and well-located in a beautiful and peaceful location. ‘Wish we could’ve stayed longer. We’ll be back.

The place was really nice and clean, with a beautiful view. It was very quiet and private, making it a perfect getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

Matt is a great host. Super responsive and provided a very comprehensive list of recommended walks, beaches to swim at contingent on prevailing winds and places to visit. We had a great 3 nights. The house was spotless, tastefully furnished and just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The hosts were very responsive.

Dianne has been a wonderful host. The check-in process was clear and concise. The greetings card left on the kitchen bench with lots of helpful information and recommendations. We really enjoyed our short getaway during the weekend in Dianne’s lovely house.

We had a lovely stay at the Happy Pelican on the Easter weekend. The garden cottage was exactly as pictured and described - light and spacious with everything provided. Truly a home away from home! Heinz was an excellent host - responsive and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful views to wake up to, right on the beach, with coffee shops, bars and restaurants just a few steps away! Flat was also pristine with nothing that hadn’t been thought of by the hosts. We felt very looked after. Also very flexible and let us extend our trip because we loved it so much! Thank you very much!!!

We loved our stay at Calm Waters. Very central to shops & restaurants, we loved swimming in the river opposite at high tide, mooring the boat out front & being able to take our dog! It was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend.

Airbnb is one of the best I have stayed in. Airbnb is warm and comfortable. Washing machine and kitchen are functional. Fridge is huge. There are two toilets but only one for shower. It’s a two storey house so climbing the stairs is needed to get to the rooms. Host has lovely goats so you get a goat view. Wifi is good. Host communicates well and does not disturb guests during stay. Private parking slot available. Check in was hassle free and no one disturbs you during the stay. Host provided red wine and cakes on arrival. There are bread loaf, butter and jam provided. Much appreciated. Kitchen is great for cooking and there’s coffee machine. The two toilets are awesome for the two rooms and shower is warm. Washing machine and dryer are a bonus and they worked really well. Stargazing outside the house was amazing every night as the view was unblocked. House is located next to a farm of cows so the view is that. What an amazing place. The cottage was clean and incredibly comfortable. Tobi's communication was excellent & we really enjoyed the delicious home baked biscuits left for us. The house backs onto the lake and we enjoyed the basin walk alongside the lake. The house is private, quiet and peaceful. We even had the pleasure of waking up to a beautiful mob of kangaroos resting on the back lawn. We enjoyed our breakfast with them. They weren't phased by us at all. We can't wait to return for another peaceful getaway.

Great spot for a break from the city. We had great weather and it made the stay perfect. Waking up in the morning seeing the kangaroos around was something else. Very good set up!
