A great private retreat! Well appointed home with everything you could need. The backyard space was really nice. Firepit, hot tub and plenty of shaded seating! Wish we were staying longer than one night!

We had a wonderful time staying at Jared’s cottage! Felt right at home! There was an issue with the hot tub but he had someone come out right then and there to take care of the issue. Very responsive and flexible!

Our stay was amazing! All accommodations were outstanding. It was our home away from home with our family for the entire weekend. Very peaceful, very clean, and a great view! Jeremy, our host, was very helpful and had a quick response to any questions we had. We have already planned to get this beautiful home again when we come back to the lake!

Matt’s place was centrally located for distillery hopping. Taylorsville lake is a great destination for outdoor recreation. The house was well furnished and very comfortable. The gated community is quiet and off the beaten path. We had a great week and highly recommend.

Quaint, quiet cottage nestled in the “woods” yet in town, excellent location! The home is comfortable and very cozy, it seemed the host attempted to think of everything you may possibly need during your stay and more. I would definitely rent this again and highly recommend to anyone considering it.

This cottage is a gem! I am picky about cleanliness, and I was happy to see that they must feel the same. The place was spotless! I had an aggravating night involving a flat tire, so it was especially wonderful to relax in this cozy place. I absolutely recommend this stay. J

The place was great! The name is very appropriate cause it was so cozy!!! We didnt use alof of the amenities cause we were only there for the weekend but overall we loved it! We brought our dogs and they had a blast in the backyard!

We loved our long weekend at the cottage! It was such a peaceful setting that allowed us to relax and recharge. The lake-view from the deck, in the morning and evenings was awesome. It was a little too chilly for water activities, but we look forward to returning in the summer and taking full advantage of ‘lake life!’ The host was so accommodating. We loved the location in proximity to the daily activities we were doing-Creation Museum/Newport, visiting distilleries in Frankfort and the local Ark Encounter.

This our 3rd time staying at the Cottage on Kirkwood. We love everything about this little gem. We were able to walk to all bars and restaurants, as it is close to downtown. The inside is pristine and cozy and beautifully decorated. Beds are very comfy and we love the rustic kitchen and painted floors. Cyndi is the perfect host…very accommodating and responsive. We can’t wait to stay again.

The home was clean, with lots of natural sunlight (abundance of windows), surrounded by a gorgeous wooded view. We had everything we needed, with very clear instructions in the home. The game room was a fun addition, especially when traveling with kids. My only minor complaint was that the internet was unstable, but that could have been a provider issue that was out of the host's control. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

The best place for a family. The neighborhoods are just beautiful! Everyone you encounter throughout the town are extremely friendly. The golfcarts are a must. The kids loved riding through town looking at all the fun attractions. It's worth every penny.

It was an excellent place to stay. Very comfortable and conveniently located near downtown and the Highlands. Also quite private and quiet despite being next to a busy road.

Indeed a country charm! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt right at home. The place was clean, cozy, and beautiful. There is every kitchen tool and necessity needed in the kitchen. The beds had plenty of huge pillows and the closets were stocked with cozy blankets. The bathroom cabinet was filled with fluffy towels. The spacious deck with patio furniture was the perfect spot to unwind after a long day being a tourist and watch the beautiful sunset. We even saw a deer right after the sunset. We loved our stay here, it was comfy and peaceful. Keisha is a great host! Def recommending this place to friends and family who are planning on visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in the future.
