Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Southfield

The house was spacious and comfortable. Our group of five adults enjoyed meals and games at the table and a movie night in the living room. The local neighborhood was very nice for walking. We enjoyed checking out a nearby park. Communication was prompt.

This is our second time staying at Brandon’s for the Motor City Irish Fest and Detroit Feis. It was 20 minutes from everything we needed to be at the entire weekend. Great place for families with dogs. Nice walkable neighborhood.

Phil really had the place comfortable for all of us and went the extra mile with snacks, a doggie bed, and toys. Our pup really enjoyed the ball! He was also very flexible with our arrival and departure time which was very helpful! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Frank was amazing. The house was also amazing and roomie. I will for sure be using this air bnb again. Thank you so much for your hospitality and letting us rent your space.

This house was absolutely perfect for my husband, my dog, and me. The backyard was so big, well kept, and I sat out there every morning on the deck watching my pup run and play. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but we did get to sit under the trees with my sister and enjoy the afternoon. Both sides of neighbors were friendly and quiet and because of the layout of the lawn, we could also set ourselves up for privacy.

Cameron and Aubrey were amazing! We loved staying here. It was the perfect distance from downtown and close to a lot of local restaurants and businesses. We enjoyed the extra tips given by the hosts. The entire home was clean and easy to come and go. We are so excited to stay here again when we come back.

TLDR: Fantastic Airbnb, even better hosts, would stay again in a heartbeat. We had a bachelor party with 8 people and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the house. We were pleasantly surprised by its size and amenities. It matched the pictures and was quite clean. The neighborhood was quiet and in a great location for doing activities all across Detroit, Auburn Hills, Novi, you name it. We shared a concern about linens/pillows from reading reviews and before our stay, they upgraded all of them around the house, such a nice touch that was very appreciated! Thus, we all got great sleep. The owners were extremely friendly and responsive, even after 1 am. Check in & check out were easy. Only a few recommendations such as reupholstering/replacing the living room couch as the padding is worn out, keeping a vacuum on site, and sweeping the garage to get leaves/debris out.

Our favorite home on Airbnb! Updated and clean! We always have a great time when we stay here. Host immediately responds and is extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this home and host. Simply the best!

I had friends come out of town and we were all in agreement that this one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at. The host provided us with every amenity possible but whats really impressive is that this house had absolutely every little amenity. So many convenient tools and gadgets in the house and they were all quality products. The beds were so comfy. The kitchen had everything possible!! We would come back here without a doubt. Really cute and beautiful house. Thank you for the stay!!

It was so great! 5th anniversary girls weekend trip for 10 gals in our 40s. I didn’t take an official poll, but we have travelled to Georgian Bay, Lake Huron and now here and this was a fave of more than a few! Beautifully appointed - we mentioned more than once that we wish this place had an Amazon storefront (give us the links!) Lots of places to sit and easy to move furniture around as necessary. Not a tonne of counter space in kitchen but with some improvisation it was easy enough to make do. Sleeping arrangements were the only bummer as we booked for 10, not realizing that included 2 on an air mattress. Just read closer than we did and you’ll be fine. It was a great stay! And the privacy was great as we like a little karaoke 🎤 in the evening hours. 🎶

Very nice clean and spacious. Plenty of games and activities to do. Very big back yard the pool was nice the fire pit was great for at night. Location was nice and private area. Highly recommended

Kyle was an absolute delight as a host! His place was exactly as the photos depicted. It was spotless, spacious, and had a lovely balcony. Plus, it’s in a quiet neighborhood. You can’t beat this unit! Thanks a million, Kyle! Oh, and just a heads up, the unit is on the 2nd floor and has platform beds (which are a bit lower than usual).

Home was IMMACULATE and Ferndale was a gem! Such a cute small town with so much to do! Pool was perfect and nice to have it heated. This is the safest and friendliest city neighborhood I have ever stayed in! So quiet and chill. Def hit rust belt market while there! Host was so sweet and responsive and home is well outfitted with super comfy beds and several TVs and hanging out areas.

Perfect place for a short stay. The unit was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. AC worked great for balmy Detroit summer days. Closest bar/restaurant is about a mile walk away, a quick walk or scooter (go to McShane’s and get the wings!). Only slight quibble is - hope you don’t get a family with young kids staying in the unit upstairs cos their morning stomping comes right through the ceiling. Jaclyn tried her level best to rectify but kids are gonna be kids, whaddyagonnado?

We had a good stay and the location was perfect for our home base. The beds were quite comfy, which is always nice since you never know what kind of mattress you'll be sleeping on until you have to sleep on it. The hosts were very nice, easy to communicate with and very responsive. The Airbnb was super cute with tons of space. We did have an issue with hot water while we were there, but Rachel was quick to respond and help resolve it. One thing of note is that the walls are crazy thin and you can hear almost everything on either side, as people were staying in those adjacent apartments. Thankfully, everyone was respectful and quiet at night. With that said, definitely bring an eye mask and ear plugs for sleeping if you are sensitive to noise and light while you sleep. The bedrooms face 9 mile and it's a busy downtown where people are out and about late due to being a popular night life area. The location was perfect for us. We loved being able to walk to so many shops and restaurants.

Nice and cozy place, very peaceful, and easy to access. Used it for an overnight stay for a concert and was very pleased! Ky had great response time as well!

I booked David's place because I was in town for nine days for work. This place was so homey and comfortable. There is nothing worse than being cooped in an uncomfortable place for an extended amount of time and this place was nothing like that. The furniture was comfortable, the location was amazing, the neighborhood was adorable with lots of people walking everywhere. The hosts were fantastic and even though I asked a few questions, they were answered very quickly. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip vs a hotel.

We felt right at home at Michael's house! The location was perfect for exploring all the fun that downtown Ferndale had to offer! We appreciated how clean Michael's home was and all of the fun and diverse decor! Michael communicated every detail we needed to know and was always quick with a friendly response. We hope to stay at Michael's place again!

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect location for us while visiting family in the area. We worked remotely, so having the second bedroom set up as an office was perfect for us and the wifi worked well for video calls. The bed was on the firmer side, but was comfortable. We'd love to stay here again in the future!
