Beachfront holiday rental in Southold

My husband, dog, and I LOVED our stay here- so much that Danielle accommodated for us to stay an additional day! It was the perfect location. Private enough where we felt secluded, but yet right off of a main road with so many great restaurants to walk to! The beach was about a 5 minute walk, and left us with the perfect spot and feeling like we had the beach completely to ourselves the days we were there. We are already talking about going back, and can’t wait to plan our next trip. Thanks so much!

The place was exactly as described! Meredith was very accommodating and quick to respond. She was even able to let us check in a little early. The home is beautiful and cozy.

This home is just as advertised. The home had lots of extra amenities and the kitchen is very well stocked. The home is beautiful inside and has plenty of space for 4 people. The home has been remodel and they did an excellent job of incorporating the old with new modern conveniences. We would recommend this home to anyone and would love to stay there again if we are ever back to Greenport.

I had a very nice stay at the Rex. It is dog friendly and very clean. Although my space was private, there are other rentals nearby and it had a camp like feel. I would stay there again if need be.

Barbara’s place reminded me of the way airbnbs used to be. It felt like home-away-from-home. The accommodations were high quality and clean, and there were even some tasty snacks! We loved our stay. Everything was as pictured. Stony Creek was wonderful, and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Ashley’s house is the perfect get away. I booked this house for my family to stay for my wedding weekend. My mom had never stayed in an Airbnb before and I’ve never seen her so happy and relaxed. She truly enjoyed her first Airbnb experience at Ashley’s place. It was exactly as described and the view is beautiful. Ashley was very responsive and made sure to answer any questions I had.

I had the most amazing stay at this Airbnb beach house. The views were absolutely immaculate, turning every moment into a picture perfect scene. Every detail was thoughtfully curated from the comfortable bedding that guaranteed a night of uninterrupted sleep to the high quality toiletries that added a touch of luxury to my routine. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals whenever I wished, and the fast WiFi ensured that I could seamlessly blend work and leisure as needed. A true highlight was the friendly welcome with a customized snack basket that set a warm, personal tone right from the start. Additional amenities, such as a cozy fireplace perfect for evening gatherings, stylish decor that elevated the overall ambiance, and easy access to local attractions, truly made my stay unforgettable. I will be returning.

An amazing stay overall. It was comfortable for 6 adults. Spencer was extremely helpful throughout our stay — I had lots of questions and Spencer was quickly responsive. The house itself is beautiful and has that eastern Long Island charm. The backyard had lots of space and is well maintained alongside the pool. We also enjoyed a sunset evening at the beach which is just a few steps away. It was a wonderful weekend and I am certainly looking forward to staying here in the future!

If we don't give a good review, can we keep this to ourselves?! Patti was a perfect host; the views were fantastic, whether from the outdoor porch or inside through the French doors looking out on the water. Access to the small beach and pool were excellent and we were close to several good restaurants (many of which Patti suggested, including some on the water) for take-out during the pandemic. Wifi was great and everything was very clean and as advertised. We generally fly for vacations and long weekends but had to stay closer to home this year and this was a perfect choice.

Gorgeous house and property that is even better than the photos. Like other reviews have mentioned, the highway noise in the backyard is definitely present, but easy enough to ignore. Really enjoyed our stay and communication was great!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Allana’s house by the sea! When we had a small incident with the keypad, Allana was quick to answer my call and resolve the issue no problem. Everything was clean and beautiful! We especially enjoyed the screened in porch in the back to enjoy our meals. The view from the master bedroom and deck is incredible! We highly recommend and will be back!

Dan is the most responsive host we've ever had. Usually we got a reply within minutes or even seconds. He happily got the hot tub heated up for us when we needed it and replenished our towels within an hour of our request. That hospitality made our stay so much better. The home is beautiful! It's right on the water, and features lots of luxurious tile, a huge patio, a little dock and lots of windows and open space from which to see it all. We especially loved the hot tub. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I'm ever on Long Island again.

Great and responsive host. Home was lovely and we felt welcome. Host responded quickly to questions and requests. The home was very peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool area. I would recommend for a peaceful time away from the city.

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The view of the water was everything and was accessible from nearly every room. The home was modern and easily accommodated our large group. Yet it was cozy and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you would ever want. It is ideal for children with every toy imaginable. There was a highchair and a pack and play for our toddler and child appropriate dishes. The kitchen was fully equipped and had 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 3 tables for dining. The beautiful pool and hot tub were in constant use. Mary is very thoughtful and assembled a ringed binder with important contacts and suggestions for dining, shopping and entertainment. Although there was no beach on the property there are nearby beaches. The towns of Guilford and (nearby) Madison are charming and well worth visiting. Mary was very accommodating and responded promptly to several inquiries.

We continue to visit Rose’s house for our yearly weekend girls getaway. It’s the perfect cozy beautiful place to catch up with friends and relax. Rose is an amazing host!

We had a wonderful stay at Eileen’s place. Many great restaurants close by…Lenny’s, Dockside and Rosso Vino we enjoyed. Delicious ice cream spots..Bishop’s Orchard Creamery and Ashley’s.

Fantastic cute spot in Old Saybrook. Key things for future guests to know - there is no A/C in the winter months so the air can get a bit stale / stuffy in the house. Plus there is no washing machine / dryer in the house, so defo bring enough clothes!

We had a great stay at the Airbnb. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned in the reviews or descriptions is that this beach had tons of sea glass! In our short stay we found over 100 pieces and my 4 year old was absolutely delighted scouring the beach for it. There are also tide pools less than a five minute walk from the house. These two things made the stay quite magical for my kids. Otherwise the location is great and the house was very clean. I appreciated the bed on the first level having a trundle as well as a door at the top of the stairs for safety. The house is minimally decorated which is honestly a plus when you don’t have to worry about your kid breaking nicknacks on coffee tables. A few nice throw blankets and nicer glassware would have added to the stay though. Overall we were very happy with this property.

Perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring the North Fork 😍 Steps away from downtown Greenport and its charming restaurants, shops and bars. Not to mention we could find everything we needed and felt right at home in the beautifully appointed apartment :)

I wanted to have a very special 50th birthday celebration for my daughter whose 49th year had not been that great! I came across Alan's property online , booked it and hoped it would work for my gathering. Believe me it was everything I could have wanted... plus. A perfect backdrop to my weekend event. The online pictures certainly represent the property accurately, but it's the feeling you get when you walk into this home that is unique, and it really can't be explained in print. (Sorry AI). The location, views and provisions make it multigenerational user friendly. It was nice to know that Alan was there in case we needed something. You will NOT regret this one!!
