Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Southside

This triplex, that amounts to a five bedroom, 4 bathroom house worked exceptionally well to accommodate my three friends and me…All appliances worked well and we literally did not have any problems whatsoever … it is a Very safe location way up in the mountain; so safe was it that we never had to be concerned about locking the doors, day or night… I recommend this location without reservation! I’ve stayed at a variety of Airbnb properties in St Thomas and Haagensen House is my favorite for its uniqueness and privacy. The property manager, Harold, met me near the airport to ensure I found my way - I encourage future renters to do the same as nav systems can be spotty on the island. The decor was refreshing and nailed the old town vibe of Charlotte Amalie - I loved the colors and wood details throughout. The entry garden is breathtaking and the expansive patio overlooking the water was such a pleasant surprise - I couldn’t believe it was all mine. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and at night, there was a nice breeze if you kept the doors open in the main space. The hosts are the NICEST people!! I travel with my small dog and finding dog friendly accommodations in STT is very difficult. We were welcomed with open arms. They were so thoughtful, following up to make sure we were settled okay and didn’t need anything. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality

We absolutely adored our stay at Fairwinds! None of us were ready to leave when the time came. The view, the comfortable sitting and eating arrangements, the porch, the pool - we were so relaxed. It was even better than we expected.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this house. It exceeded our expectations, and the house was in excellent condition. The morning coffee on the patio was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved the secluded location of the house, but it was still just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants, and stores. Baron was an amazing host who even gave us some mango and coconuts from his backyard. The three AC units in the house were a huge plus, and the fully stocked kitchen was a great convenience. We would love to return to the USVI and stay here again. 10/10.

Very good place with a beautiful view besides being equipped with everything you need to enjoy the island and have coffee and other snacks ready for any craving I highly recommend this place!

Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

The Airbnb and The host Ja were amazing! It was our last day in St Thomas and woke up to banging on the doors and gun shots at 1am-2am i had three children in the home and had to get them away from all the windows. Be aware of your surroundings.

Maria and Chloe were such great hosts! Their prompt communication and local recommendations were simply the best and made us feel right at home! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and we did! The place was absolutely beautiful with hands down the best views on the island!! If you're looking for a private place to stay with truly million dollar views and taking a dip in your own private pool, don't look any further and book this right away! You will be extremely impressed with this place! Thank you Maria and Chloe for making our vacation memorable!! We will be back!

This was a perfect location. The staff were absolutely wonderful! especially Miss Barbara was the kindest lady so very friendly,always willing to help! The restaurant/bar, and coffee shop are great. Mercedes the host of our Airbnb is very responsive. I definitely would stay here .again. Beautiful island. Certainly a trip to remember.

This place was amazing! So peaceful and serene, the beach is a 1 min walk from the from door, private with spectacular views and an absolutely perfectly oeaceful environment. The community was inviting and warm, everyone was genuinely happy that I was there and I felt like famiky with the way I was welcomed and recieved. The unit itself was perfect with a spectacular kitchen, AC, and private bedroom with ample sleeping for 4. This was a steal at the cost and would use this again if I returned. The pool was not working during my trip but it did not matter as the beach was so inviting. A car is needed to see different parts of the island but there are private picturesque beaches within walking distance. Sunrises and sunsets were astonishing and breathtaking from the bluff above the private beach, a short 10 min hike. The fire pit, was a great place to meet locals and have great conversations along with a family style BBQ to bring it all together really made this place feel like home.

The home was exactly as described. The location was perfect, kind of in the middle of all major sites; ferry to St. John and Red Hook wine and dine area are down the road. The home was spotless clean and had all the extras that you would use in your own home. Camila was very responsive for the few questions we had. We would absolutely come back!

Pictures do it justice! Beautiful views.. relaxing and convenient location. Very quite great for our little family. Was nice to have something private and able to cook meals while eating outside with a gorgeous view

Anna was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend having a rental car because our taxi wanted to charge us more to drive up to the gate to get into the complex and it’s much easier than waiting for a taxi. Bring bug spray if you plan on sitting out on the balcony! Bring laundry detergent if you plan on using the washing machine. The condo was spotless and comfortable. Perfect for a couple night stay for two people! Views from the pool were picturesque!

We found barbs Airbnb at 11pm after dealing with issues at our original Airbnb. Barbs place was amazing! She was such a great host and we can’t wait to come back. We will always use her home when we visit the islands. Thank you so much for helping us turn our trip around at such short notice!

Paul was a great host, very responsive and nice. The place has a washer/dryer, and the balcony has amazing views.

I loved my stay here, the space was beautiful, clean and has sm character. Despite having AC the home stayed cool with the many windows and fans. The driver that Bg recommends got us everywhere we needed to go and always prompt. Overall would love to go back to ST. Thomas just to stay at this Airbnb so peaceful and quiet ugh a dream!!

Wonderful location just 3 minutes up-hill from limetree beach. Felt right at home in the well appointed and thoughtfully stocked 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen and great balcony. Located in one of the quiet areas of beautiful St. Thomas. As others have said; it is highly recommended to rent a car (jeep) to get around, as the island roads are steep and a bit rough, and taxi/uber is expensive. Highly recommended location, host and environment!

Great location! We didn't feel like a car was needed and walked most places. Host was so helpful and gave lots of local recommendations. The bed was very comfortable and there are beautiful views of the island from the balcony!

The home was nice and clean in a very quiet and private neighborhood. We had no issues with self check-in and the home was equipped with basic everyday needs (toilet paper, paper towel, beach towels, pots, etc.) it was the perfect stay for our 2025 St. Thomas Carnival vacation and we look forward to booking with Albert again!
