This rural farmhouse in Carrownagry 3km from the small town of Mullagh was built in 1935, restored and renovated by the original owner's grandson in 2022. It is located in the beautiful countryside of West Clare. The house is in easy driving distance of Milltown Malby, seaside towns of Quilty, Spanish Point, Lahinch, Doonbeg, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher and Dromoland & Bunratty Castles. Hiking nearby. A truly special spot, this luxurious lodge is close to Ballyvaughan but tucked in the trees with a view of the turlough, red squirrels, and sparrow hawks. Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of East Clare, retreat from the busyness of life to a unique experience in nature. It’s a really beautiful space with trees and a small forest. This semi off grid yurt is designed to provide you with comfort. The yurt is attached to a private kitchenette and a small bathroom with hot shower and a toilet. Inside the yurt, you will sleep in comfortable double bed with a warm duvet and a cozy stove. (Please note, this is not a party venue)

You are very welcome in “The Mews”, a charming converted barn located on the grounds of the 18th Century restored Fomerla House, also called Castleview Cottage. The Mews, a traditional barn with the convenience of modern life, is ideally located in a tranquil setting, convenient for exploring the sights of County Clare. It is 25 minutes from Shannon Airport, 15 minutes from Ennis, the medieval capital town of Clare and 10 minutes from Tulla, the local town.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Fully off grid experience including solar powered hot water and a modern Scandinavian dry (compost) toilet.
