Cozy Cabin in Candor

600 square foot, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom efficient and cozy cabin on a beautiful hilltop location in Candor, NY. Built in 2022. The cabin is easily accessible through a shared driveway in a quiet and private setting. Watch beautiful sunrises from one direction and gorgeous sunsets from the other direction, and the occasional wildlife passing by. Many outdoor recreation opportunities at nearby State Forests/Parks. Pets are welcome! Portable mattresses can be provided for additional guests.

Canaan Country Cottage

This is a private, rustic and cozy vacation camp that has been partially modernized with an addition containing two bedrooms. The original part of the building still has that Adirondack camp feel; woodsy and camp-like, but very private. Secluded and also close to Hammond Hill State Forest with many miles of trails for mountain biking, hiking and xc-skiing. The cottage sleeps 4 to 6. We recently upgraded the internet with a fiber connection, and added a propane grill on the back deck.

Nestled in a grove of Norway spruce, your peaceful cabin getaway rests in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Built by a local carpenter (with help from his dog Indiana), the cabin has enough coziness and charm to make any stay special. Hike down to Mill Creek (on the property), roast some marshmallows over the fire, or lounge in a hot tub beneath the stars. The cabin is 15 minutes to Ithaca / Cornell, has a living room with a Switch + BluRay + Netflix, and has satellite wifi (100+ MBPS).

Howland Farm

The John Howland Farm is an iconic 1840s family farm. We follow strict cleaning protocols and only accept whole house reservations. Your party will be the only guests in the farmhouse with suites. The "Butterfly Suite" includes three bedrooms, sitting room with board games, books, and private bath. The "Garden Suite" is fully ADA accessible with bedroom, bath, and sitting room. The "Pine Cone Suite" is also ADA accessible with bedroom, bath, and adjacent laundry room.

Private Scenic Retreat

The entire place is yours to enjoy! Our guest house is located on a dead-end road five minutes from the town of Newark Valley and only 30 minutes from Binghamton, Cortland, and Ithaca Included is a kitchen with open common area, two bedrooms, full bath and washer/dryer within living area. A farm setting is viewable from the common area and attached deck. There is a 2 acre pond and miles of scenic trails spread over 250+ acres, with sights as far as Pennsylvania!

Seahorse Tiny House in the Pines

IOf our three tiny houses at Bugs in a Jar Farm, Seahorse in the Pines is our most popular. It offers the most seclusion and privacy for those wanting to get away from the crowds. As the name implies, it also offers deep shade most of the hot summer. Relax in the hammock under the pines or on the private screened porch, and enjoy the hilltop breeze. Most dogs are welcome, but please note our STRICT NO PIT BULLS OR CATS ALLOWED, NO EXCEPTIONS! policy.

Creekside Cabin

A cozy cabin on the banks of Cayuta Creek, immersed in natural beauty. Located on our 75 acre organic orchard and cidery, it is a short drive to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Finger Lakes wineries, state parks and gorges. Nature surrounds you: water rushing, a tree frog chorus, beavers swimming by, bald eagles fishing trout. Enjoy hanging out and eating meals on a wraparound deck overlooking the water. Private spacious apartment with all amenities, located 15 minutes drive from Ithaca, NY. To relax during your stay, you can pour yourself a hot bath, unwind in the living-room or enjoy the outdoor deck with view on the 1 acre property. Other tenants include our poodle (Angélique) and Trouble, our outdoor cat. If you feel butch, you can start a fire and relax around our bonfire area or strip in your swimsuit and hop in our hot tub.

Beautiful, quiet, country setting overlooking Buttermilk Falls that is only minutes from downtown Ithaca, Cornell, and Ithaca College. We are located at the southern end of Cayuga Lake, near Trumansburg, Newfield, and at the beginning of the Finger Lakes Wine Trail. We are close to local state parks, waterfalls, hiking trails, entertainment, and shopping areas.
