It is known to be the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. Vinci is only 30 minutes from Florence, 10 minutes from Empoli and Cerreto Guidi, 50 minutes from Lucca and an hour from Siena.

From here it is easy to get around Tuscany, both by train and car. We are 36 km from Florence and 52 km from Pisa. Empoli is a town with a pleasant historic center, and is close to Vinci.

An ancient deconsecrated church dating back to the early 1900s, originally built as a private chapel of Villa Philipson. Chiesino Dei Vaioni has a loft structure with two double bedrooms on two separate mezzanines. Outside, there is a kitchen with a wood-burning oven, private gardens with a tree-lined avenue and an olive grove. The gates and internal stairs were built by the Antica Fonderia Michelucci.
