Family-friendly holiday rentals in Springwater

Christine and Rebecca were amazing hosts!! The cottage was super clean, and had everything we needed. This cottage was also super fun for a big group, we played lots of volleyball, went out in the canoes, and did hot cold dips from the lake to the sauna. Amazing place, would totally go again :)

We had a great time at Patrick’s cottage, the location is great, within walking distance from the beach, it’s exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This place was perfect for a blue mountain get away. We had 8 adults stay here for a ski trip and we all were comfortable and had a wonderful time. The kitchen is well stoked so we were able to make large communal meals with no issues. I'll definitely look into coming back next year.

Great place if you're looking for somewhere to house everything for a weekend

Nice home in a quiet and safe feeling neighbourhood. Easy to find and access. Big back yard for kids and dog (although not fully fenced, which was fine as we brought our own leash). We arrived from out of province (via flying) and were surprised to find the beds already made with the necessary linens (we had packed our own via suitcase as per the ad details). But we appreciated the kind gesture had we somehow failed to bring our own! The kitchen is updated (so different from pictures) but still has all the appliances and cooking items a family would need for their stay. Lots of stores (grocery, banks, restaurants, Canadian Tire etc) are within a 10 min drive or less, making “going into town” to grab stuff a breeze. Plus having access to a hot tub, sauna and BBQ are a very nice treat :) We had a very comfortable stay and appreciated Tamila’s prompt responses for any questions we had. Would happily stay again!

We spent a couple of days up here, and it was as described. It took me back to my childhood! The classic “by the lake” cottage. And it is that. Complete with a breezeway with life jackets, a great dock, and of course the fantastic lake. We enjoyed a campfire, and the place had everything we needed, for meals and memories. It is a cottage though. You should expect that. It isn’t fancy, and Geoff doesn’t describe it that way. It is how he describes. Geoff is also very responsive, and when we had a question, came back right away. It was a nostalgic little getaway for us! We loved it.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Muskoka cabin. Great views of the lake and was really fun to go out on the canoe and kayaks. The cabin was cozy and nice with a great kitchen and awsome living room for hanging out and relaxing. Host was extremely responsive and nice. She provided helpful clear instructions and information. Would love to go back.

Sara’s place was absolutely spectacular! Every little detail was thoughtfully considered, making it perfect for a big group or family. From an abundance of towels, blankets, and dishes to a well-stocked kitchen with spices—you name it, they had it! Our family frequently rents large homes, and it's usually hard to please everyone, but this time, not a single person had any complaints—only praise for how much they enjoyed the stay. The amenities were top-notch! We made great use of the sauna, red light bathrooms, and hot tub. Plus, the home offered plenty of gathering spaces for both adults and kids to relax and enjoy. It was truly a comfortable and welcoming experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-equipped, thoughtfully designed getaway!

Another prefect stay at DJs place. We will definitely be booking again next time we are in the area.

Place was nice amd cosy for our family break in winter. Great toys collectiom for 2 years old, good books collection for older kids. Only downside was that it didn't have microwave which was tricky with 2 yr old especially when trying to warm up milk quickly. TV could have been bigger fpr the space but it was still good enough. Ian was very helpful and responsove during our stay, he got snow cleaned promptly during our stay.

This place was a home away from home which was close to the hill we could walk with skis. The fireplace was clean and easy yo use. Great family getaway with lots of room to gather. Love it would book again.

We had a great stay at Vivian's place! The chalet was very clean, exactly as described, and fit our group of 13 comfortably. We especially liked the big dining table that was great for meals and games together, and that the kitchen/living room area was on a separate floor from all the bedrooms as this made it easy to accommodate different schedules within the group. One thing to note is that the kitchen didn't have some cooking items like tin foil, cooking oil, and a baking sheet, so be sure to bring those if you'll need them. There was coffee however which we really appreciated! Vivian was very responsive to all messages and sent clear instructions for the space. Definitely recommend for a big group trip, would book again!

Our stay here was fantastic. The house is big with plenty of rooms for a big group. It was clean and orderly. There is a beautiful dock with a canoe, kayak and life jackets. Our host Fred was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone looking a cottage getaway.

Great place for a peaceful getaway in beautiful surroundings just a few minutes from town. Can’t say enough good things! Comfortable and cozy in combination with spacious, airy and bright. Everything you need. Lots of space with walking paths for kids and dogs. Great working kitchen. Huge deck with great bbq. Beautifully kept property. Responsive and friendly host.

My boyfriend and I rented Steve’s cabin for a birthday weekend and loved our stay. It was both recharging and relaxing. Being surrounded by nature all weekend felt grounding and the quiet was just what we were looking for. The bed was so comfortable and the whole cabin was so clean. Communication with Steve was great and he was so nice to chat with when we arrived. Although his home is just next door you’d never know he was even on the property unless you needed him. We did quite a bit of fishing during our stay and caught a pike on the first night! Thanks for a great stay!

We rented 2 cottages on same premises for this booking, and hosts were able to accomodate our needs. Very responsive hosts, with clear instructions and descriptions of the place. Unit 4B is our fave place to hang as its closer to the river and has bright space. Back Porch is enclosed with glass window and screen for night hang out place when you wanna avoid mosquitos outside and/if it’s raining outside. You still feel like youre outside with the comfort of staying inside :) 4A is nice if guests wants privacy at night, coz its has 2 queen size bed and bunk bed (3 BR). Both cottages can use all the water activity stuff. Nice to fish here too. Bonfire at night is great as well with free fire woods from the hosts. Location from Toronto is great, as you will feel like youre far away but it’s just 1.5hrs drive.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the temperature inside was just perfect. We really enjoyed our time here and felt right at home. The only small downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but everything else was great. We would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

This was a beautiful place with great views, only a 5 minute walk away from the village. It was clean with an organized bathroom and kitchen amenities. We weren’t missing anything. There was a nice fireplace with a lot of board games. Super cozy, and a great place to take photos. You also had access to a shared hot tub. Sometimes other people got rowdy at the hot tub, but that is to be expected. Overall this is a great place for families or get togethers for skiers and people that like great restaurants and social events. Thanks, Adam!

Very clean place, excellent location next to the village and at a great price recommend for blue mountain stays

Excellent place by a fantastic host. The place was clean, well located and has everything you would need such as kitchen utensils, games + TV, and plenty of clean quality towels. Ulana and Amir were also very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

What a lovey area and a cosy place. Made great use of the pool and hot tub and our kiddos loved scootering up and down the street! Dom & Christine could not have made it easier. Our family absolutely loved our quick weekend getaway. We will be back!

We stayed here over the long weekend and absolutely loved it! The place was gorgeous—cozy, clean, and the view of the mountains from the Airbnb was stunning. The beach just two minutes down the road was also beautiful and made the stay even better. We’ll definitely be booking this place again whenever we return to Blue Mountain!

Jason and Tanya saved our trip after the first Airbnb we checked into was dirty and had mice! They had a last minute cancellation and allowed us to check in right away! They were super helpful in getting us moved over to their place. When we got inside it was beyond clean and comfortable. The kitchen was the best of any airbnb I've stayed in with spotless dishes and useable pots/pans and appliances. The unit is spacious and the beds & linens were extremely comfortable. A million thanks for saving our trip for us! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Richard was an extremely gracious and helpful host who responded immediately upon my reservation request. He answered every question I had in a very timely manner and helped me to get in contact with Airbnb when I had a separate issue that had nothing to do with his booking. When we arrived at the bnb, there was a complimentary bottle of white wine waiting in the fridge for us. Shortly after we checked out, he reached out to let me know that I had left one of my belongings in the closet and offered to return it to me. He also gave me a discount for our stay due to an unforeseen circumstance that was beyond his control. He was very generous and helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us! Our stay was quiet, clean, comfortable and cozy! We will stay there again when we visit Collingwood and highly recommend it!
