Really well done and beautiful place, feels safe and is peaceful spot but still walking or very quick tuk tuk ride to the beach and restaurants. We had a really good time. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay a lot. This is an amazing place to relax and spend some calm time directly on the beach. Cabins are super nice with a big bathroom. We especially loved the food - it’s very delicious, in particular the curry. Would recommend everyone to spend some time here, it’s a little paradise with lots of privacy.

the best stay in Sri Lanka. if you want to feel the nature and power of the ocean you have to live here for a few days. the sound of the ocean was fantastic, the house was clean and equipped. the hosts were very nice and helpful, they even did the laundry! definitely 10/10

I absolutely loved staying with Pasindu and Ani. The bungalow had everything I needed, Atlas and socks were adorable to play with and the outdoor shower was a treat. Ani and Pasindu helped me with a scooter rental,Ani took the time to show me how to use it and take me around the backroads in town so I would feel comfortable riding it (Thank you♡). Pasindu was an excellent surf instructor! he made me feel comfortable and at ease in the water and really helped me improve. They are an amazing couple, helpful with an endless source of tips for the area. I would love to stay with them again.

We very much enjoyed the beautiful and unspoilt beach so close by and the refreshing pool in front of the cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Pradeep was most charming and helpful with everything. He also cooked us a delicious breakfast. Next time we hope to go to the new cottage looking right on the ocean.

The house is located in a quiet area not far from the nearby beach. It is very large with several bedrooms. Outside there is a large garden where you can relax or eat. The host who greeted us was very kind and helped us organize our tours on a lot of issues. He provided some valuable tips that were very useful to us, thank you very much. Although a large home needs some minor fixes. It wasn't clean and the kitchen was not well-maintained (leftover food in the fridge and outside). Overall, the house was very spacious and had everything we needed, although it was a pity that it was slightly neglected.

Just a perfect place. Cute houses with open bathroom, very nice people working there. Beautiful beach almost empty. Animals and nature at your hand. Would go there next time.

Everything was great, Nalinda was constantly in touch with us and available for any request. The house itself is simply perfect, plenty of space and really direct access to the sea, definitely the house to book if you want to spend some days in Hikkaduwa! thanks for everything

Thank you for such a wonderful few nights break in the most amazing of locations! I highly recommend Gaya's beautiful house. Her family and staff are all very welcoming and helpful. This house is wonderful and such a unique place. A short tuk tuk ride away from a stunning beach (it is walkable if your not trailing kids in the heat). The pool and the gardens were beautiful and so relaxing to come back to of an afternoon or for a lazy morning. Thank you so much for such a memorable and magical time.

Thiushanj along with the chef and housekeeper was extremely welcoming and friendly they accommodated every need of ours from food to some shoppings which included from liqueurs to medicines and to a birthday cake which we requested from a place almost an hour ago highly recommend the place . Such a wonderfull house. Location could not be better with everything you need just down the road. The pool is amazing and the rooms are spacious with great air conditioning for the hot days. We hope to be back again soon.

This will be probably the best place you are going to find in the island. The cottage is in a nice and peaceful garden, 10m from the the sea! All neat, and very nicely decorated. And more than everything, Nimanthi is a very kind person who made us feel really welcome and feel at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived very early in the morning and she already had prepared a room in the main house for us to have some rest before the guest would leave. A lot a nice attentions towards us. Very rare indeed.. Great feelings!

We stayed here at the end of our month holiday. The hosts were so amazing, kind, and helpful! They also have a cafe with excellent food and a great environment - you have to go try it. The burgers and poke bowls were awesome. They made our stay so excellent. They also let us use their kayaks and pool. The room is basic but their description is clear and we had such a great stay. Highly recommend it!

Our stay was sensational! The hosts took great care of us before check-in and welcomed us warmly. The prepared dinner was top notch and the breakfast as well. We were provided with drinks, WiFi, bug spray and helpful tips for booking a driver. The private garden is incredibly beautiful. We felt very comfortable.

If you’re thinking of booking somewhere else, don’t. Wild Lotus was our favorite stay in Sri Lank. The team and story behind the property makes it super special. The property is unbelievable. You never have to leave! Roshan and his team exhibit five star service you’d get at any high end resort. We spent most of our day after our early morning excursions laying in the hammocks bird watching eating the delicious food prepared on site. Wild Lotus will always have a special place in our hearts.
