We spent a long weekend at Jennie’s house and would highly recommend. It rained the entire weekend so we weren’t able to make use of the top north facing deck or the lower pool deck but we lit the fire, settled in and had such a relaxing time. There is a really good coffee machine which meant we didn’t even have to venture out for coffee! We loved it on a wet winter weekend so I can only imagine how great it would be on a warm sunny weekend.

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property ! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire space felt peaceful and private. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Clear instructions were provided for check-in/check-out, and they even left a lovely welcome note and a few local treats, which was such a kind gesture. The location was perfect — quiet and safe I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The place is cosy, homey, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a great bonus, and the peaceful surroundings made it even more special. Communication was clear and easy—our host was friendly, responsive, and made everything smooth from start to finish. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back. Highly recommended!

The house is lovely and very big. Suited us as we all wanted seperate rooms and our own bathrooms so the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was great. We did not use the pool or spa so I can’t comment on that. Lively Properties’s were easy to deal with and gave excellent instructions for the property. Would be happy to to use Lively again if we head back for another stay.

Very nice place! Excellent equipment in the house, basically everything you need and even more. Good location, close to Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t be happier with our time at this home. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and had everything you need. The home was so convenient to the shops, a short stroll away. We stayed in April and the surrounds were very quiet and peaceful.

If you’re looking for a house to relax and unwind, this could be the one for you! The house was warm and homily, and delivered some amazing sunrises / sunset views, all whilst relaxing in the spacious upstairs lounge. The house was clean throughout, and large enough to accommodate our group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Peggy is a great host, super responsive and even provided some complimentary wine to welcome us. Cheers to that!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property! Our host went above and beyond by giving us a full tour of the house upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The attention to detail and hospitality truly made it feel like we were staying at a private villa. The space was clean, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, and the ambiance was just as lovely as the photos (if not better!). We highly recommend this host and would love to stay here again in the future. Had a great stay, so many amenities in home. Enjoyed pictionery game from the games cupboard. Outdoor area was fantastic. Anita was a terrific host and kept us updated on ant questions. House was very clean and spacious. Perfect location to beach and street for coffee, cake and grocery store.

House was clean & spacious, with pleasing coastal interior. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds & nice linen. Main bedroom is roomy with massive en-suite & WIR. House remained cool during our stay when temps were at around 30 degrees everyday. Air conditioner worked well too. Location was in a quiet street, a convenient 5 minute drive to town & the beach. Kristy, our host was helpful & responsive. Check in process was smooth. Can definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay in this lovely beach home. such a great place to spend my 60th birthday. Walking distance to everything, we hardly used the car. Loved the decor and everything was thoughtfully acquired and tastefully applied throughout the house. Loved the little retro heater in the 2nd bedroom, cute. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook yummy meals. The lounge room was equipped with cozy blankets. The beds were comfortable and had good cotton linen. The Rain shower was fabulous. Loved the retro Kitchen table and chairs so comfortable. Also liked the art on the walls especially the one in the main bedroom. We enjoyed the beaches and walking around the neighbourhood too. We also enjoyed playing coits, Bocce and did a jigsawpuzzle. My greyhound loved snuffling all round the backyard and playing on the grass. Thanks so much for all the thought and care you have put into Eleanors we'll be back. : )

We had a wonderful stay at Janell and Nathan’s house, everything was as expected and the house was beautifully presented - clean, comfortable and with all the creature comforts of home! They were extremely accommodating and great to communicate with. The location was perfect too - only a very short drive to the beach and main shops, including pub, restaurants/cafes and shopping centre. It wouldn’t take long to walk there either. A fabulous stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Thank you to our host Matt. We had a wonderful 3 nights/4 days. As described and pictured on Airbnb, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The position of the home was a short stroll to the main shopping strip and a great cafe for our morning coffees. We self catered and found the well appointed kitchen appliances to be modern and easy to use including an extra large fridge/freezer, coffee pod machine, easy to use oven and cook top. Bathrooms facilities were above average. Linen was soft and very high quality. There were so many extras supplied by the owner (while we didn’t use them, they would certainly be a bonus for anyone thinking of staying here e.g. baby cot and high chair, beach equipment, games, books etc). The TV and WiFi were excellent. The ability to bring our puppy knowing the backyard was spacious and fully fenced was an added bonus. A wonderful few days away to relax and enjoy a lovely little township.

Lovely house close to everything in Portarlington. Clean with everything you need for a few nights away. Nicole was very easy to deal with and was fine with us arriving early and leaving a bit later. Thanks for letting us stay Nicole. Great place in a great location.

Dixon Cottage is a lovely 3 bedroom holiday house that has everything you need to enjoy cold winter days relaxing with the family. The big open plan living/meals/kitchen area with wonderful for everyone to enjoy movies, games and meals together from a well appointed kitchen. It's just a short stroll to the Portarlington Main Street with its great cafes and gift stores with local artists craft and wear. We'll be looking out for it's availablity again for future visits to the Portarlington and the Bellarine Peninsula.

Catherine and Brendan were fabulous hosts. Very informative and responsive. The house was gorgeous and had both a modern and nostalgic feel. Great amenities for kids. The children loved all the outdoor games! We felt right at home. A short walk to shops and foreshore which was exactly what we were wanting having 5 small children with us. We had such a lovely time.

What a fabulous find in a peaceful location with views to the Bay. Being dog friendly was a major factor for us & our dogs absolutely loved their stay here, the yard was fantasticand secure. Would definitely love to stay again and recommend to others.

Our 4 night stay was fabulous. The cottage had charm and was very well appointed. We loved that the beach and walking track was at the end of the street and town was easily walkable. A host of wineries, a whiskey distillery and a cidery were a short drive away. Our stay coincided with Anzac Day and it was an honour to attend the Portarlington RSL service. Best of all was that Neville, our special poodle, could enjoy the break with us.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the beach house located at 32 Beach Road in St Leonards, VIC, and it was an exceptional experience.
