Regular renovation in recent years means that the house is in excellent condition. The house was built in the 1880s and is located at the northern end of Eidsgata - a pleasant main street with beautiful wooden houses, shops and restaurants. Here it is a short distance to everything.

Go mountain hiking right from the door to Keipen or other mountain hikes in the Sunnmørsalpene. Enjoy a short distance to popular destinations such as Loen, Geiranger, Briksdalen and Ålesund. The cabin is only 10 minutes from the Folkestad ferry.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

Cozy holiday home with amazing views of Hjørundfjorden. Several patios/terraces, fire pit and barbecue. Outdoor jacuzzi for 5-6 people. The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if boat rental is applicable.

On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the house. The house is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff, and with a direct view to, Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. Exploring the area by boat is perfect in good weather.

Strandheim in the city country

The house is renovated in 2018 with new bathroom and kitchen. Fishing and boat rental are available. Seafood that can be used when dealing with fish or crabs. Here is a freezer for fish or something desirable. Approx. 500m to grocery store, café/restaurant/pub. Approximately 1500 meters to the gas station. It is about 15 minutes to drive to ervik and hoddevik which has great opportunities for surfing and mountain tours.
