Pondside Barn

A beautiful and character 2 bed converted barn overlooking its own private pond and deck. With a large and open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen there is plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful Wittenham countryside. Pondside Barn comes fully equipped for 6 guests with hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine, washing machine/tumble drier, fridge and freezer. In addition it also has super fast internet and a 42 inch smart TV with sound bar. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other has a king size bed and two single beds. The bathroom comes with a full sized P shape bath with shower over, heated towel rail, vanity sink and toilet. There is space for working and relaxing. The outdoor deck overlooks the beautiful pond (with resident Moor Hen family) and comes with a table and chairs for 6 allowing a great area for outdoor dining and enjoyment. A large BBQ is also available and a fully lit canopy over the deck ensures a great space to enjoy the evening. Pondside Barn comes fully equipped for up to six guests with bedlinen, towels, toiletries and refreshments available to ensure you enjoy your stay. Included for you in your stay is a Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of pods together with a cafetiere and fresh coffee. Tea, milk, sugar and olive oil etc is also there for you. Pondside is also equipped with luxury East of Eden toiletries including Lemon Blossom and Bergamot Shampoo together with Grapefruit and Sweet Orange Shower Gel. Handwashes are also available. The Barn is situated in 4 acres of gardens close to the Thames side village of Long Wittenham and close to the renowned Wittenham Clumps. Late checkouts until midday are also available at a charge of £25. Payment is taken at the time of booking, but an honesty jar is available for bookings via Airbnb or Booking.com Well behaved pets are very welcome and there is a fee of £15 per pet per night. If booked directly this is paid at the time of booking, but an honesty jar is used if booked via Airbnb or Booking.com. They are very welcome to stretch their legs in the shared garden. There is a woodburner available, in addition to the central heating in the barn and we would advise guests to bring some logs if they wish to have a fire. Many local walks are available and you are close to the local amenities in Wallingford, Dorchester and Clifton Hampden all linked by the Thames. Oxford centre is only 15 minutes away. Parking for several cars is available adjacent to Pondside Barn. Didcot Parkway station is less than ten minutes away and less than 40 minutes from London Paddington. Transfer to the station can be arranged.

"A recently refurbished self-contained annex in the midst of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Close to the Chilterns, the pretty market towns of Thame and Watlington and just 20 minutes drive from Oxford. There are excellent walks and numerous pubs and restaurants with delicious food and warm fires. The property is a separate annex from the main house and is perfect for a relaxing break. It has a sitting area and kitchen, a bedroom with beautiful views, a superking bed and a modern bathroom.
