Here, there may also be the opportunity to fish with a pole part of the year. Directly from the residence you will find a lot of hiking opportunities, both along the road and to the mountains. For the cultural enthusiast, Straume Landscape Museum is included, including the Stone Age residence Skipshelleren.

New funky cabin near Herand on the Solsiden of Hardangerfjord. The cabin has 1 bedroom, sofa bed in the living room, kitchen and living room in one. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a refrigerator and a dining area with a fjord view. Out on the balcony one can enjoy panoramic fjord views and listen to the wind or the birds. Sleeping arrangements with room for 4 - 5 kids or 3 adults, also the loft with stunning fjord views. Toilet/bath with shower and washing machine. P accommodates 2 cars. Sun all day and evening sun:)

Welcome to a charming cosy house at Øyane. The house is located next to a lake where you can go fishing ( permit needed )svimming, canoeing and kayaking or ice skating in the winter. The house is surrouded by mountains with perfect hiking trails. A famous trail is to "Vetlevarden at Storfjella", Vaksdal. The trip start just outside the frontdoor. At the end of the lake there is a 80 meter high waterfall "Hesjedalfossen" It take 20 minutes by car to the waterfall. We have a free canoe avilable.
