Nice cosy house in a quiet and peaceful village.

The house is located on a beautiful hill overlooking the ocean & surrounding mountains, but with winter conditions a good car is definitely recommend. It’s cozy & the bedroom with the fireplace and chairs overlooking the area is stunning. Things to improve: Include timber (the owner was so kind & brought us some because we didn’t know we have to bring our own), maybe lower the price a little bit, the check in & checkout times & also making the beds ourselves we hoped it would be included in the amount of money we paid. But that’s only our opinion and we would definitely come back because we felt very comfortable in the house! Good distance to beaches, a nice coastal walk & also Leknes :)

The best airbnb we've stayed in! The pictures of the post don't do its justice for the breathtaking view that stunned us the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated. Kitchen is well maintained and more than fully stocked. So perfect, that we could've stayed forever.:) I left my phone time-lapsed the midnight run's movement overnight in the living room. Couldn't think of anywhere else could offer such comfort. Marius was very responsive and considerate. The instruction to find the house is clear. Just pay attention to the house #. It will help in finding the way. Located conveniently close to Leknes which has everything. Minor notes: no microwave nor shampoo. But the place was so flawless that we didn't mind. A sidenote - Sorry I turned off the heater coz it's warm. I only learned later that in Norway it is probably more energy efficient to leave the main heater on all the time. I should have known better. A truly unforgettable experience-highly recommend!

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

We felt super lucky to find this little gem in Lofoten. It was such a nice and cozy home with everything you would need to feel at home. We very much enjoyed the hammock, the garden outside and the possibility to relax after days of hiking on this beautiful, Northern peninsula. Calum and Simone was quick to respond and we immediately felt ourselves to be at home. Would definitely recommend and be happy to stay here again.

The seafront cabin in Vestvagoy was exceptional. It was exactly as described. Welcoming gifts were left for us including fresh cut flowers. The living space was very spacious and modern, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The living space was located on two levels. Both areas had large windows facing the harbor and nearby mountains. Our host was very attentive and proactive. We never had an issue with communication or the house. The one thing to note is that there is no parking available next to the house. Cars need to park on the hill above the house. This means you must walk up & down two flights of stairs to access the car or the house. To avoid having to carry suitcases up & down the stairs, we drove down an alley located behind the row of houses, unloaded/loaded our suitcases and then parked up on the hill. Once in the house, our stay was so enjoyable and memorable.

It was very clean place to stay. Communication with snorre was easy. Strong recommendations!

Havard and Hanna’s farmhouse was exactly as pictured/described, spacious, and comfortable with nice views from the big windows and ambient lighting. Pleasantly, it felt like coming home to grandma’s house. We especially enjoyed the heated bathroom floors. The hosts were responsive and easy to engage with, and we appreciated their house manual with recommendations.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Lofoten! We were four people and felt immediately welcome. Solrun and Øyvind were incredibly friendly, helpful and always quick to respond – we really appreciated that. The house was cozy, well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect – a super base for exploring the beautiful nature around. We couldn't have had it better, and we would highly recommend both the place and the host to anyone considering traveling here. Thank you very much – we will be happy to come back!

An amazing place to spend your travel days. It’s creative, contemporary, lots of natural light and all white and woody. It’s so beautifully done that you feel like not stepping out. Loved the place, loved the surrounding, loved the warmth of Marco and the awesome local tips and recommendations that made the trip all the more memorable! From the Lofoten Vibes to works best cinnamon rolls, to the fire place to the varied book collection and the outstanding balcony view!!! Thanks a lot Marco and hope to visit again :)

Nusfjord is a beautiful location. We used it as a base to do several hikes around the island. The house itself is easy to find. Anne Lise was quick to respond. Instructions were clear and check in and out easy. Kitchen stands out in completeness, also the bathroom and shower are a definite plus. Would most definitely recommend!!!

I had a great time during my stay at this appartement. It had everything I needed and looked like on the pictures. There is so much to do in the area and it was a great base to explore the islands of Lofoten. Verner and Katrine were really nice and answered alsways quite quickly. I would love to come back soon.

Great location, lovely and very homey. Lots of personalized touches and very comfortable. Anne Marie was very responsive and helpful. Kabelvåg is a great place to stay, strongly recommend it!

Our trip was a mix of working remotely and hiking. Tone's place is in a great location for many beautiful hikes and makes the driving manageable each day. For the days I worked, the internet was fast and I could do everything I needed to. It's also within walking distance to the grocery store and a small cafe. The neighborhood is as quiet and safe as you can get. We arrived late, and check-in was easy. Tone was very responsive before and during the trip. We had rain a few days during our trip and it feels spacious and cozy inside for two. The ladder to the loft is a bit steep and awkward and it's easy to accidentally hit your head on the beam at the top. For those with mobility issues, it could be challenging to get up and down. Overall, we're glad we stayed here and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was just as described and pictured. Elisabeth’s place was very comfortable, cozy, and warm. Our cat host was wonderful and super snuggly as well ☺️ Elisabeth was great at communicating and gave us lots of great suggestions. We were able to see the northern lights from the yard and the neighbor even gave us a great suggestion for a hike we did the next day. Would stay here again if we ever get the chance!

Fida’s apartment is a great place to stay. Everything is clean and tidy and the description and photos are a true reflection of the accommodation. Fida went out of her way to provide details of local routes which proved better than the ones I had planned. I can totally recommend this accommodation for a quiet peaceful stay

Anne Gerd is a fantastic host with great stories and local knowledge. We booked last minute and she was very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer in her beautiful house!

Amazing. Just amazing. One of the best we have ever stayed in.

The house is very well cared for and beautifully situated with great views and access to a cool walk along the water. It sits at the end of a road in a quirky local neighborhood. It has everything you need including a washer and dryer, a lovely modern bathroom with a large tub and separate shower. Great base to see lots of popular hikes. Also very close to the super cute village of Nusfjord. The only problem was staying up way too late each night to look out the windows.

We were unlucky with the weather but nonetheless had a really nice stay at Cathrine's lovely house. Found lots of tracks to hike in the neighbourhood. Great views when you get up high.

A great house, very tastefully decorated. With everything you need and imagine. A small problem with the water due to the sudden winter onset was solved thanks to a very quick communication and response. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thank you very much
