Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Stanford

This was my second time staying here, and it continued to be an excellent experience all around. Very clean and cozy. Perfectly located for accessing Stanford. Comfortable bed. Great, new appliances for meeting all your needs. And a seamless check in and communication experience with the hosts. Strongly recommend.

For a solo traveler like me, this was a perfect place, especially the location. Walking distance to Stanford campus; nearby shops and restaurants. I didn't need a car from this location. There is also a nearby laundromat and market.

Wow! Best AirBnb ever, over many years of renting AirBnB's! We lucked into Kylee's place when there was a last minute cancelation and she could not have been more welcoming, kind, and flexible with our arrival on short notice. She was understated in how completely gorgeous her home is. It is a sunlit jewel, with a roof that literally opens to the sky, windows everywhere, looking out into a tree'd yard on a lovely street in a pretty neighborhood. The kitchen is gorgeous and very well stocked for cooking. The beds are super comfy and the living spaces just invite you to relax and enjoy the space. We honestly cannot speak too highly both of the home and of Kylee's hosting. She was responsive to our every query and welcoming and gracious in every way. Six stars!

Karen was a kind host and the photos were exactly like the place. I asked for check in details a day early and she gave them to me. I am not a big fan of stay ins and her place gave me the privacy I was looking for! Walls were thins, but again, it was nicer than staying in with someone, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend if the place is available. It is not hard to find as long as you use the GPS.

Stayed here for three nights while on a work trip. Unit was very clean, spacious, and well furnished. Some construction noise in the morning but otherwise in a quiet area. About 5 min drive from downtown Redwood City. Thank you!

Anna’s backyard ADU absolutely exceeded our expectations. We’re a family of 3 who stayed for a week, and the house was comfortable and convenient for us. It was also very neat and clean. Anna and her family were close by if we needed anything, yet our stay felt very private. Would 100% recommend if you need a place in the Bay Area!

Michelle was a very proactive host. Space is clean, neat and as pictured. Was great alternative to hotel for a conference trip. Would stay again.

We were almost sorry to stay for only two nights. The place is just about perfect, with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and any amenity you might need (possible exception is a/c, but it wasn’t very warm during our stay). The traffic died down at night , making it a quiet place to sleep. Particularly nice is the immediate proximity of the bay tail: perfect for a morning run or an evening stroll. Oriel was very proactive communicating, and we never had any uncertainty about anything. Highly recommended: we would stay there again anytime!

Nice, clean and well-equipped apartment within walking distance of convention center. Cecilia is very quick in responding to any small issues there might be.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

This was the a great place to stay for a short work trip. The unit is a first floor private studio apartment with its own private bathroom and kitchen in a small apartment building. There is controlled access to the overall building as well as a key to the room. It is convenient walking distance from everything on Castro as well as the Caltrain station. As others mention, the main drawback was the noise, but I actually found it easier to sleep that way. The kitchen is stocked with some basic food items and breakfast like bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee pods. It is an older building and unit that I thought had character. Very clean and comfortable.

John and Maureen were very kind and welcoming! We loved their place, it was very comfortable and quiet. The movie screen and projector were a treat! It was so convenient to downtown Palo Alto, wonderful restaurants, Rinconanda pool and Stanford. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Palo Alto!

The location of the suite is in a nice area close to the Mission hills. Very quiet neighbourhood with attractive homes and gardens.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an apartment in Santa Row, San Jose, and it was nothing short of fantastic! This vibrant area is a true gem for anyone looking to experience the best of what the city has to offer. First and foremost, the shopping options are outstanding. Santa Row is home to a variety of upscale shops and boutiques, making it a shopper's paradise. Whether you're looking for high-end fashion, unique gifts, or the latest tech gadgets, you'll find it all within walking distance. The convenience of having such a diverse selection of stores right at your doorstep is a huge plus. Speaking of walkability, the area is incredibly pedestrian-friendly. Strolling through Santa Row, you’ll find beautifully landscaped streets, making it a joy to explore on foot. The proximity of cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues means you can easily grab a bite or enjoy a drink without needing to drive. This makes it particularly appealing for tourists and locals alike.

Very convenient location, easy walk to UC Berkeley. Even though it's near a busy intersection, it felt very quiet and peaceful. The unit is much more spacious than I was anticipating and it was nice to have a complete kitchen. Al is a very kind and responsive host. I would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time. The view was second to none, with easy access to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Great coffee shop within walking distance (albeit with a decent hill). We happened to stay when whales were just off the coast and saw them from the shore. Could not have asked for a better day. For those with mobility issues - you do need to climb about 10 narrow steps to get to the tram, which lets you skip the rest of the stairs. But there is no way around those first steps. Would absolutely come back.

Perfect place to stay in Alameda with young kids! Kimberly’s condo had a pack and play, highchair, and even toys for my young children to play with. The walk in closet was a great space to put the pack and play to add some separation for nap and overnight sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The home is lovely and the area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops accessible.
