We built this cabin to be so cozy you'll never want to leave. Spend the day exploring the world famous hiking trails and rock climbing, and your evening soaking up the forrest in the hot tub. Enjoy the views and peacefulness for a romantic getaway. For weddings at The Greenhouse / Appalachian Rose Farm this is the place to stay!

Deep in the forest, u will discover a beautiful cabin overlooking a bluff in the magical Appalachian Mtns. Add a rec room, 3-sided porch w/ a pair of 6’ porch swings, 2 electric grills, hot tub, fire pit, small target range (+ much more) & you may never want to leave! 4 bedrooms, but can sleep 16+. 17 min to RRG & Natural Bridge. Looking for seclusion? How about relaxing in a hot tub on a cliff?! Romance on the Rocks rests on and between HUGE BOULDERS providing an intimate and private setting. There are all kinds of places to relax here - the front porch, side porch, upper balcony outside the loft, the loft has a king size bed, a jacuzzi tub that can provide a spectacular view (see photo in listing) and, of course, the hot tub tucked under the rockface. There are few places like this cabin in the Red River Gorge area!

Less than 15 minutes for Miguels & Nada Tunnel, 45 minutes from Lexington, KY, and easy access to local Kroger. Each property has a dedicated outdoor grill and there are 3 shared fire pits on property. These are cabins in RRG and each cabin is equipped with internet, but cell service and internet can be spotty as is the whole area!

Our cabin was designed and built for our own family & friends, so you will be stocked with everything you can think of. Relax on one of the double decks, gather at the fire pit, or enjoy air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, board games, and video games. 4WD/AWD recommended (not required).

It has a well-appointed kitchen area with new appliances, cherry and tongue and groove pine paneling throughout, vaulted ceiling, solid oak flooring, large picture windows, and a tv/work area.

This cabin is located just a mile or two off the Slade, KY exit on top of a ridge in Red River Gorge. Built by Paul Rhodes in his spare time, this passion project took over six years to complete and boasts a uniqueness unrivaled by other accommodations.
