Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Stark County

This artist studio was a really cool location to stay in Massillon. Our host was so helpful and friendly.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Janelle’s property. It is a lovely separate living space, with a firm mattress and large bathroom. Janelle was helpful and proactive, setting up an air mattress for us before we arrived. She also had a brochure with local events, restaurant recommendations, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here 3nights. Looks just like the pictures. A cozy room. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the bathroom sink was extremely low. I had to use the kitchen sink, which was fine because it was close enough. Other than that, it was perfect for what I needed, a cozy, comfortable and safe place to sleep. I would stay here again. I absolutely loved the chalk board wall to write my name and where I’m from.

It was a very unique experience and my children had a great time! The gym was great for them. The separate rooms are themed and they do a very, very good job with the decor. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at the Millhart Family Lodge & Rec Center. If there is anything more peaceful than looking out the window of a home and seeing blue skies and animals roaming the miles of beautiful green pastures, I haven’t found it yet. We spent much time in the gym with the kids, playing basketball, dodgeball, and pickleball. My wife even slipped on the rollerblades! Downstairs, we enjoyed playing Carpetball. None of us had heard of it, but once we googled how to play, we spent a lot of time competing with each other. The trundles and Murphy bed allowed for much more space to play games and draw at the bar without feeling we were in each other’s space. We loved watching the horses stroll by the downstairs windows. The lodge is gorgeous, and the upstairs has such a luxurious, warm feel. We will definitely come back! Jonna did a wonderful job, and we couldn’t be happier.

This was one of my best stays. If the stars were 10, would give it to him A kind soul who was thoughtful to even guests with challenges. He was very communicative & did an excellent job running his home efficiently. Would recommend anyone staying in the area to consider this option. Located in south Jackson Twp just north of Massillon. Very clean & orderly. Easy host to be around, was in & out with responsibilities, but responsive if needed. He has this process down after 13 years. Great house plan with guest rooms on one side of common areas & his room on the other side, privacy for both host & guests. Women, this is a safe place to stay.

Excellent Host!! Especially considering I book the property last minute. The place is so peaceful and clean I was glad to feel right at home. I would definitely book again. Great hospitality and everything as described.

We came for an afternoon/evening in Akron. Carin was so kind to us and helpful. Truly a wonderful person. Very comfortableand clean bedroom. Another one of those places we wish we had more time at.

Beautiful apartment! Louanne and Tony were very kind and thought of every detail needed for a pleasant stay. As a Steelers fan, the decor was an added bonus. Stayed for the weekend for a wedding at Glass at Enchanted Acres, and it was a short drive away. Would definitely stay again!

This house was perfect for what my guest and I needed. Close to downtown, right by the freeway, and good food spots within 10 minutes. The beds were comfortable and there were TVs in each bedroom. Highly recommend this stay!

Great space and wonderful host! I stayed here for just over a week while in the area for work. The co-host, Megan, welcomed me with a great orientation of the house on the day I arrived. The dogs were friendly and warmed up to me quickly. The host, Connie, is so gracious and I had a great time chatting with her during my stay. Everything about the home is as described and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I highly recommend staying here!
