Words do no justice for how absolutely incredible our stay at this cabin was! We look forward to returning to our new serene and happy place! It was so much more than we could have imagined inside and out, and the hosts were so thoughtful and accommodating. The entire process was smooth and when we arrived we felt right at home, it was magical! This was a very clean and well organized place. Everything you could think you would need was there. Beth communicated very well and provided all necessary information ahead of time. I really couldn't think of any questions to ask because of this. I would definitely book it again.

Thank you thank you thank you! Everything about this place is so humble! The owners went above and beyond to make this a place where it fits everyone’s needs. I’ve never been to a place that feels like home always like a hotel feeling but definitely not here. The place was very clean and up to date. The walks you take are so peaceful and the things you can do in that area are unlimited. What a beautiful home and area to visit! I will definitely be staying at Shanara’s when ever we visit the great state of NY. Thank you for everything!!!

Were up to attend our son's college graduation in Canton and all the hotels were book as we needed 3 rooms so we book Cheryl's place. Waterfront, relatively new building with all the amenities of home. Clean and spacious wish it was a little later in the Spring so the weather would have been warmer to enjoy the water.

Our family (7 adults) stayed at Lee’s beautiful home for the weekend; we were in town for my son’s college graduation. The home was clean, as pictured, peaceful, relaxing and the right amount of space for us all. We had space for making dinner, playing cards and enjoyed a campfire in the backyard. Check in and out was a breeze, there were ample linens, kitchen appliances/utensils,etc., great space for parking our cars, beautiful view, great outdoor space. It was tucked into the woods but only an easy 20 minute drive to Potsdam. We were all very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend to anyone considering Lee’s place. Fantastic!
