Amazing location, great host, very private even though it’s a basement and was very clean. We will definitely find it again.

Easy check in and out. Check the website for the Gamble Mill to get info on the bar and restaurant downstairs. We stayed on a Tuesday night; It was totally quiet. Location is steps away from the river walk and multiple parks. Room was clean and as described. Hope to stay again next time we are passing by!

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

Megan was a great Host! Her home was perfect for our stay. Came for a graduation at PSU. I would definitely come back to stay again! Home was well equipped to easily get comfortable and feel at home. Surrounding area was so beautiful to take walks around the neighborhood. Everyone in the area was so friendly and welcoming! Also, great recommendations from host as well as neighbors. Wish would could’ve stayed a couple days longer. Lastly, although this is more of a review of the area, we fell in love with Sheetz! We don’t have them in Southern California, and was so excited to go there! Thank you again Megan!!

This place was wonderful. Clean and well kept. Comfortable and Quiet. All the pictures are exactly what we encountered. Considering it was both Penn State Graduation and Mothers Day Weekend - everythng was booked - we were so happy to get this place and we felt the price was worth it! I would 100% recommend your stay here and we will return when visiting family again.

Joy’s beautiful apartment in Bellefonte is truly a rare find and a wonderful place to stay when visiting this charming town. The apartment is spacious, fully renovated, and fashionably decorated. The historic touches like large windows and high ceilings make the place unique and special. Joy is also a wonderfully kind host who generously provides an exceptional range of fresh food, coffee, and snacks. The bed in the apartment is very comfortable and the bath linens are top of the line and very enjoyable to use. We only wished we had stayed longer to explore more of the town of Bellefonte and all of its interesting museums, antiques, and restaurants.

My husband and I spent two nights in Nikol's apartment while visiting our son at Penn State. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated how well Nikol also communicated with us about things from parking to check in/out. The location was convenient. If the weather was better, we probably would have walked to town, but it was a quick drive to both town and East Hall dorms. We also appreciated that the apartment included tea/coffee and a few snacks. We hope to stay again.

The location of Big Oak Suite is incredibly quiet and peaceful. There is a very large walk-in closet with washer & dryer and loads of coat hangers and convenient shelving. John provides an incredible array of small items that one might have forgotten to pack such as tooth brush, toothpaste, mouthwash, razor, shaving creme, Tylenol, Advil, hand creme, sunscreen, scissors, sewing kit, and fingernail clippers. Big Oak Suite is laid out very well with a beautiful, functional kitchen with all the cooking necessities. The suite is very roomy for two people.

I think this place was great. It was very easy to find with the directions. It was a little nervous thinking that the main house would be connected but it's completely private. The little candies and charges left throughout were a really nice touch

We visited the area to attend a graduation at Penn State and it was the perfect place to stay. Amy and her husband were so welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They were thoughtful with prepping the apartment with some toys for our toddler as well as setting up a pack n’ play which made our stay so smooth. We were minutes away from the Penn State campus but the neighborhood was still quiet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quaint, comfortable place near campus.

The hosts were excellent—very friendly and responsive. The location is great, and the space was spotless. Just a heads-up: the listing mentions it’s not in the main house, but based on the photos, we expected the space to be a bit bigger. It’s actually a basement unit, so it felt smaller than anticipated. That said, it was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of towels. Overall, we had a great stay and appreciated the hospitality.

Joseph is a great host; he offered excellent suggestions for local hikes, attractions, and restaurants. His place was spotless, and it was stocked with a nice selection of coffees and snacks. Mills Springs is a perfect location to explore the Central PA mountains; the Poe Valley Area is remote and beautiful; there is a scenic easy hike around Colyer Lake, which is only 15 minutes from the cabin. The location is ~20 minutes from State College and 25 minutes to a charming small town called Bellefonte. I highly recommend Joseph as a host and his cabin as a place to stay for a relaxing visit to the central PA mountains.

Had a wonderful stay for PSU football. Walkable to downtown and Game Day shuttle. Hosts were responsive and even let me back in after we checked out and I accidentally left my phone behind!. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Great place to stay!

This location has access to a few mountain hiking trails 30 seconds outside your door. Very private, no one else on the trails. Some of them run along a driver and leads to a waterfall. Shower has mobile head which is a plus; bathtub comes with stopper. Kitchen well stocked. AC works very well -- comes on immediately and cools or heats quickly.

We stayed here for the Penn State playoff game and it was perfect. The location is near the stadium and its easy to get there and back from downtown after a night out. Its a beautiful and comfortable place with a fantastic fireplace and TV. The kitchenette is a nice touch. It is perfect for couple or a few friends on a PSU weekend. Ryan was also extremely helpful, communicative, and helpful. Highly recommend this spot!

I loved staying at the resort. Its were I can decompress! Jeanettes studio with a loft, fit in to my place of needs. It was calm and soothing. I only wish I could have stayed longer!
