Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Luka's Hut, eco-cabin with sauna by the river

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Beautiful upper floor with a lovely box spring. In the living room, a nice sofa bed. Good WiFi, smart TV, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, milk frother, kettle, fridge, combi microwave and kitchenette (no cooking facilities). Gourmet, wok, etc. are not allowed. Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

The apartment Út fan hús has two bedrooms with a double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen with refrigerator and bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has its own entrance. From the apartment, you have a wide view over the Frisian Greiden. It is located on the water, where you can swim and fish. You can also use 1 or 2 person canoes, a boat and bicycles for free. The city of Sneek is 15 minutes away by car, Leeuwarden 30 minutes.

Lovely apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and in addition a private garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Lovely apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!

Heidehof is a detached cottage for 6 persons located in one of the most beautiful areas of Texel. On the West side of the island near the woods and the beach with an free view over the meadows, the dunes and the church of Den Hoorn. Rabbits, buzzards, harriers and owls regularly visit Heidehof. In the evening you can enjoy the most beautiful starlit sky in the Netherlands, kept warm by the log fire in the fireplace.
