Small cottage house with a view

PaoloRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The host was incredibly kind. The house was extremely well-equipped, the outdoor space was enjoyable, and the house had a stunning view. We are deeply grateful for the host's warm hospitality. They generously gifted us with traditional Easter sweets, a delightful olive oil, and exquisite local honey. An unforgettable experience!

SeaScape Boutique Villa

AnnaleahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa! The views are truly stunning and the photos do not do them justice! Maria was an incredible and caring host/ point of contact and was so responsive, providing special tips and recommendations to make our visit enjoyable! She’s happy to help, and even called ahead to restaurants for vegan options for us - thanks! The separate and very private bedrooms with their own entrances are great for sharing the space. Lots of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the view. The secluded rocky beach is breathtaking and absolutely worth the hike down and up - more for the adventurous type but absolutely doable and worth it! So peaceful and gorgeous down at that beach. Sometimes there is some noise from the neighbors and their dogs, cats, and from the road behind the house which is normal/ typical if off a main road and with neighbors - just flagging that although it is private and somewhat secluded it can get noisy at times. 100 percent would return!!

Swedish Beach House - "Shell", right on the beach!

BenjaminRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We were there with our 5-month-old baby and it was just perfect for us to relax and keep our little one busy. The sea is right in front of the window and you can enjoy the sound of the sea and the great view all day and night. There is a wonderful little beach that only a few people visit. While snorkeling, I saw many fish, including even red firefish and an octopus. The accommodation corresponds exactly to the description, there is nothing more to say, everything is great. On the same street there are two small supermarkets with everything you need, a pharmacy, a café, a bakery and also a gas station and a small tavern. In the neighboring villages to the east and west there are a lot of great restaurants. We found Makry Gialos in the east particularly beautiful, an authentic small fishing village, recommended for gyros fans: Grillhouse Makis. All in all highly recommended if you like it authentic and relaxed.

The hidden gem of Papadiokampos. Sea & relaxation.

FrankRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is very remote, but with 50m from the sea it is really a magical place. Unfortunately, we only spent 5 nights there, but would have preferred to stay longer. The house itself is not so special, but the location absolutely is. With 100% privacy, you are 50 m from the sea with only a few houses nearby that are certainly not permanently occupied. With Sitia 15m away, you are also back in the inhabited world, with all the amenities available. In short, highly recommended if you like peace and space. Kallia is really a treasure, the house is tip top, and she even cooked for us the first night because we hadn't done any shopping yet. Will definitely come back

Stavrochori -MakriGialos:The magic Eastern Crete.

ValerieRating, 5 stars71 months ago
Without hesitation the best Airbnb experience. Anastasia is an exceptional hostess, extremely kind and very attentive. We communicated a lot by messenger because she had to leave for family reasons in Athens but was very responsive. She told us great places. In addition Stavrochori is a very pretty little village with an excellent Taverne, 5min walk, out of the tourist hustle and bustle.

Efthimia's house

SusanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was my third stay in Mary's beautiful village house. It is a magical experience to step back in time 100 years, but with fast and reliable WiFi, strong A/C (or, for us in mid-April, heat) and modern plumbing. Everything works perfectly. The location is ideal for exploring Eastern Crete by car, with great hiking options and fascinating archaeological sites. There are a couple of good tavernas in the village within walking distance and my favorite taverna (after 9 visits), Porto Kanaki in Pachia Ammos within an easy 5 minute drive. Mary herself is wonderful, extremely responsive and helpful. I love her place and hope to come again for a 4th visit someday.

Villa Kimmi Natursteinhaus Crete

ElekRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Anna’s house is beautiful, cozy, and peaceful in the small village called Shinokapsala on the southern coast of Crete. The house has a lot of space and the view is spectacular for the balcony. All but one room has private bathrooms, the kitchen is the best equipped among the apartments we rented in Crete. All windows have motorized blinds, and all rooms are equipped with AC. It can be reached only by car and if you want to buy something you need to take the car also because the village has no shops but the calmness and the sight make up for it. Strong N, NW winds could make some noises in the house but if one can sleep deep or uses earplugs what we did could oversleep these nights without a problem. Anna was a great host. Even though we got lost in the mountains because we didn’t follow her clear instructions on approaching the village, she patiently waited for us in the middle of the night. We heartily recommend Anna and her house for families or small groups.
