Fresh air in quiet forest environment

All on its own, at the edge of our property is our little cottage in a forest clearing. It's quiet and quiet. Only nature and at a distance from the bathrobe there is a warm swimming lake. The whole area is traversed by lovely walking paths and it is just under one km down to the bay. Herrbret, which we call the cottage, has a lovely deck in a sunny position in the front. Everything is fresh and newly built in the old-style but with modern standards and equipment. The cottage is intended as a nice relaxing oasis for two people in the vicinity of nature

The cottage is located high. Sun much of the day/evening. Nature plot is shared with the main building. Neighbors are around, not close, and you can take care of yourself. The cottage has a large bright living room, a smaller bedroom, a mini kitchen as well as a toilet with shower, washing machine and dryer. 3 km to the sea and child-friendly swimming. Both close to the cabin and on Värmdö there are scenic areas for recreation. Two km to the bus with direct bus to Slussen/Stockholm. Seven km to grocery store. Two bicycles are available.

Cottage 15 m from the sea in a beautiful area

The cottage has one room with two beds and a kitchen with running cold water. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Private patio with barbecue area is down by the jetty. The cottage is secluded in a quiet and protected bay. You get here by car or bus to Stavsnäs, and then by the ferry towards Sandhamn to our island. The cottage is about 10 minutes walk from the jetty. The terrain is a bit hilly so not suitable for stroller or roller bags.

The house is in Stavsnäs, close to Sjösala and close to the city on the archipelago. The house is newly renovated. 3 beds in the house upstairs and a 2 bed sofa bed for guests downstairs. Pub/café and shop close by. 8 min walk to the bus, 10 min to ferries, 45 min to Stockholm. Peaceful, cosy. Private parking with boat or car. Obs: Towels and bedsheets is ”not” included. Cleaning is not included. The house must be restored to the same condition at checkout as it was on the arrivial day.

Drinkingwater comes from our own source and taste fantastic! Close to nice sea baths and possibility to go around Gula Vindövarvet, a beautiful walking path of 10 km through forest and along the sea. We enjoyed a very memorable stay. The property was gorgeous. Getting to sit on the dock or terrace was a favorite activity. So relaxing. The row boat was fun. The kitchen worked well, as did the laundry facility. Magnus was very warm and accommodating. We hope to come back one day!

We had a wonderful stay. Beach and excellent bakery at a few minutes walk. The environment was magical. We loved this place and the athmospere. We stayed at Stavnas but you can easily go to the other islands (ferry). Eva is very friendly and helpful when needed. Nothing was missing.

We stayed five nights in the charming house in the forest. Our relatives stayed in the guest house. The children could run around freely and we enjoyed the space outside with a great glassed-in dining area where we had a wonderful time grilling and spending time. There is a small beach nearby (10 Minute walk) which is excellent for all sizes of children. We really felt at home in the house!

Stavsnäs is an excellent base camp for exploring the archipelago, and this cottage is very conveniently located for that purpose. Nice surroundings, beautiful private garden with outdoor dining area, bbq, bicycles etc. For being a summer cottage, the kitchen was really well equipped, the beds were excellent. There is a distinct "traditional summer cottage" vibe to the buildings, so not everything works as in a modern house. Read the provided instructions and you'll be fine. Host also responds quickly to any questions! We felt he air is a bit heavy indoors, but you can open windows for ventilation.

Charming boathouse right by the ocean

I had a few wonderful days with Karin. Karin is a very courteous and friendly hostess and always tries to help her guests, without ever being intrusive. The hut is away from all the hustle and bustle in a very beautiful bay and is perfect to unwind and relax. The hut has everything it needs, but no shower, which I solved with a camping shower. A supermarket is about 10 minutes by car or 50 minutes on foot. Likewise, the small old town of Stavsnäs. My tip, definitely go to the local bakery. You can sit there wonderfully and enjoy the great products. The ferry terminal can also be reached in 10 minutes. From there, you can easily take the ferry to Sandhamn. My tip is to drive during the week, as it is much more relaxed. You can easily take trips to Stockholm by bus, the stop is opposite the supermarket. I would go on vacation with Karin again at any time!

We had a very pleasant weekend in Per's stugan. We were three adults. We were very nicely welcomed by Per and his wife and got advice on what to do in the surroundings every time we asked. The cabin was very clean and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. We had good weather and make use of the terrace for eating our meals. The cabin was located beside the main residence with very nice views of the water and islands and with access to a small beach and water. I recommend it!
