Hi, I'm Yvette, a librarian and long time resident of Yarmouth. I love meeting new people and know how important it is to have a nice place to stay when you're travelling. Our newly restored 2 bedroom Victorian cottage is within walking distance of the downtown, ferry, restaurants, café, museums, transit bus, etc. Yarmouth is known for its beautiful beaches, scenery, seafood and its friendly people. The Big Dipper Dome is the perfect place for a relaxing get away or a cozy romantic weekend. This dome has all the amenities of home including a heat pump, smart TV and wifi. Just a short walk away is a full personal bathroom with an indoor shower, toilet and sink all while keeping the same natural feel. The dome boarders a field that often has lots of deer and other animals and is located on a property with waterfront access. This place is perfect for your next stargazing get away.

Express Studio Units- no range

Express over night studio units. Approx 450 sq ft. No electric ranges but the kitchenette provides double hot plate, convection oven, and microwave. Smaller size fridge included. 65" TV, Netflix only. Wifi is included. Sit down shower. Everything is wheel chair accessible. Walls are 11" including 6" concrete for exterior and dividing walls. Very quiet. Mattresses are $2000+ Stearns/Foster queen. The couch folds out into a second bed but isn't very comfortable. Great palce for short term stay.

The Shack---an ideal off-grid forest experience

Want to disconnect? Experience privacy and tranquility in a cozy forested hideaway! The Shack is an off-grid, comfy, one-room cabin (16 ft. x 20 ft.). It's a .5km hike on a rocky wood road from our home . No electricity, internet, or cell coverage. Can be "buggy" during blackfly season. Enterprise wood stove for heat + camp stove + BBQ. Fresh water + wood provided. Board games; over 60 books . Outhouse. Campfire pit. Access to canoe, life jackets and paddles (free)+ Internet at owner’s home.

Our place has one bedroom, living room with sofa bed and single Murphy bed, one bathroom with washer and dryer, full kitchen, satellite tv, internet, electric fireplace. Located close to a walking trail, grocery store and local distillery. Pet friendly. Relax outside and enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Pubnico Harbour.

Come join us on the Most Southern Point of Nova Scotia. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Walk the many white sand beaches. Lots of wildlife in the area, Deers and rabbits. And of course, an important bird watching area. Two Domes included with an outdoor kitchen area. multiple firepits and decks. Compost toilet outside the Dome. Propane fired hot shower. This is camping with a G! Glamping! So dress for camping on Nova Scotia's coast. We have a wood stove, hot tub, greenhouse, etc.

Welcome to The Boathouse! Conveniently located in the Municipality of Barrington, known as the Lobster Capital of Canada. Unwind at this uniquely built, rustic cabin situated next to the ocean. At high tide, you will wake up to the sound of waves splashing beneath your window. Enjoy the beautiful views from the outside decks or take a kayak and explore. The wildlife is all around. When night falls sit back and relax at the fire pit as you look out on the ocean. Enjoy your stay!

Private Lakeside Cottage in Yarmouth

Small private lakefront cottage. Secluded property next to the beautiful Ellenwood Provincial Park, full of hiking/walking trails. Rustic, and undergoing minor renovations, but a very cozy, clean place to stay. The Lake is clean and great for swimming! Full kitchen with most everything, an outdoor fire pit for nice nights, and a piano for rainy days. Heat pump, BBQ, fibre op, & Roku TV + Netflix! Wood stove is functional for extra heat and ambiance, wood not included however.

NO CLEANING FEE!!! Located in West Pubnico, 840 square feet of open space decorated in mid century modern style and all white shiplap. There is a 3 piece bathroom with a shower. The rental is above our garage and set back from our house. You will have a beautiful view of the ocean and a path to walk down to the shore. We are close to a grocery store, liquor store, hardware store, banks, church, and a 30 minute drive to Yarmouth or a 2.5 hour drive to Halifax. Sunsets are free.
