We had a wonderful time. Ramzi was available when we had questions. Very friendly. Cabin was clean and cozy. If you have never driven in hills before be prepared the roads are tight. The lookout by the pool is amazing and also clean. Neighborhood also clean and quiet. Everything was perfect as the pictures showed. One slight thing to update would be the hot tub cover as it looks as if someone or something stood on it and broke it. Still works just fine but it’s collecting water on the top. Thank you for a great vacation. :)

We enjoyed staying at the Papa Bear Chalet! Private location with a lot of bear sightings. House was as described and plenty of space for everyone.

We had seven ladies on a girls trip. We had a blast. There is a bear that hangs around and popped up a few times, minding his own business. Definitely would use the cabin again.

My family really enjoyed staying at this house. We absolutely loved the mountain views from the top 2 decks, and the bottom desk with the hot tub was private with trees surrounding which was nice. There were a ton of fireflies surrounding the house every night which was cool. The star gazing was also perfect from the top porch. We had a bear visit us while we were in the hot tub our first night. It didnt get too close to the porch. Just walked around and left. Such a cool thing to see it in its natural habitat. We stayed quiet and ready to go inside incase needed but it came and went quickly with no issues. The drive up was not too bad but I definitely recommend driving slow with all the curves around the mountains. The parking situation was a little tight so just be aware you may have to backup and go forward a few times if you are in a big truck. The pool we went to was only a 6 minute drive and was good sized. Downtown was only a 10 min. drive and a beautiful scenic drive. 5 Stars!

My family and I had an amazing stay at Dan and Jenna's cabin. The cabin is well situated, easy to find, and a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge. The parking is a bit tight if you have a large SUV but ones you park the front door is right there. The view of the mountains were incredible and very relaxing, the beds were super comfortable and cabin had a homey feeling. We had an issue before we called it a night so Dan & Jenna came by and took care of it right away they were super nice. Dan was very informative about bears around the neighborhood and he was not wrong we spotted two bears and the moment was priceless. I will definitely back and I will recommend the Dan & Jenna's cabin to my friends and family. Thanks again Dan & Jenna for letting me and my family stay in your beautiful cabin to enjoy paradise.

Our stay was a last minute accommodation and the host was very quick to respond and made the process extremely easy for us. The location was perfect. Away from it all but not too far if we wanted to make a drive to it all. The host was always quick to respond and even checked in on us when we had an earthquake! The views are beautiful! The house was perfect. It felt like home away from home!

Cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The view was even better ❤️ Location is close to everything but yet far enough out of the way it’s nice and peaceful. We were on motorcycles and the only downfall was the drive up. The last turn was sharp and steep….but you don’t get those views without being at the top of a mountain. We would definitely stay again but without the motorcycles ☺️

This cabin is absolutely stunning — perched at the top of a mountain with breathtaking views in every direction. The interior is cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect getaway for our family. The only thing to note is the steep driveway; it’s manageable, but be prepared if you’re arriving in bad weather. Once you’re up there, though, it’s completely worth it. A true mountain gem!

This was such a sweet stay and we wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful location - my husband enjoyed fly fishing during the day on the water and I was only 20 minutes from kayaking at the NOC. The house was very clean - tidy bathroom and kitchen with all your basics stocked to get you started. Hot tub was lovely and very clean! There is a steeper drop off next to the outside firepit so I would be mindful with little children. Easy check in and they were very flexible and responsive when we had some crazy weather pop up nearby. We will be back again and hopefully stay a little longer!

Oh man this has been amazing!!! we rented a pontoon boat yesterday and today we went and drove our car all over the tail of the dragon and cherohala Skyway and then we just had a bite at Bryson city. This is a wonderful place! thank you so much for having it and sharing it! really really great appreciate it so much. I don’t want to go home!

Our accommodations were clean and inviting, there was even a sign on the door with my name on it. Thoughtfulness was shown with a bag of cookies, coffee pods, creamers and lots of blankets, towels, toiletries, games and books. We tucked into a king sized bed with clean, crisp sheets and comfy pillows. Hiking, kayaking, the GSMNP and the GSMR were all within a reasonable driving distance.

Great stay in Highlands! A few things to note - the mile drive after you get off the main road is gravel and there’s no service. There was also no Uber/Lyft but we were driving so no issues there. Just a couple things to plan for during your stay! Overall, amazing place, extremely clean, & great communication with host. Would 100% stay here again!

The cabin is even more amazing in person, world class views every day! It was also exceptionally clean, well stocked kitchen and pantry and our questions were responded to quickly. It’s a remote location which we didn’t mind. Quick access to the lake/river for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fun encounters with the Great Smoky Mountains train. Close enough to the Nantahala Outdoor Center and Bryson City for daily excursions.

If you want to enjoy the most beautiful mountain lake in North Carolina, and stay in the most beautiful house on the lake, you need look no further than this Airbnb. Lake Santeetlah’s shoreline is mostly undeveloped; the water temperature is perfect for swimming; and the views are spectacular. Alisha is a gracious host. She will answer any question you have within minutes, yet she does not impose on your visit. The house is spotless; it easily sleeps six adults (3 couples) and two children (bunk beds). It is well equipped and has a cozy, family atmosphere. Be aware that the driveway can be daunting at first, but follow Alisha’s instructions for entering and exiting, and you will have no problems with any size passenger vehicle.

Beautiful home, that matched the pictures exactly. We were here just to unplug, as the weather was too cold to enjoy the lake, and the house was perfect for that. Gorgeous fireplaces, wonderful views, and a library of awesome books. My favorite part of the house were the windows that lined the entire top of the home. At night, we could see the stars while lying in bed. Very neat. I would definitely recommend this house.

Murray’s mountaintop getaway is a must! There is absolutely nothing negative I could say about this home or our experience from the moment we walked in to the unfortunate moment we had to leave. The hosts provided very clear instructions on how to get to the house and quick response and answers to any questions we had. After staying here I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else. While enjoying a fire we were pleasantly surprised to see a momma bear and her 2 cubs on the balcony one night. We look forward to returning to this little bit of heaven. Book it!

We traveled down 11 hrs from Pennsylvania and arrived a few hours before check-in and Laura was so nice and allowed us early entry. The property is beautiful..and the house..stunning! An awesome deck to sit and drink our coffee in the morning enjoying the sounds of the water flowing in the creek behind the house. It was so peaceful. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. I could not ask for more. Our only regret is that our trip was mainly for riding the tail of the dragon and other scenic roads that we did not get to enjoy the house more. I wish we would have stayed a few days more. Hopefully we'll go back in the future.

We had an incredible stay at this mountain retreat! The home was tucked away in a quiet, private location—perfect for getting away from it all and enjoying some peace and quiet. The views of the mountains were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of room for our entire family to spread out and relax. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals together, and the living area was great for gathering in the evenings. There was even space for the kids to play without feeling cramped. We loved sitting out on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning and winding down around the fire pit at night. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly place in the mountains that still gives you all the comforts of home, this is it.

We enjoyed our stay at The Windmill Cottage, Marlene has done a great job of adding all the right touches to make it feel like home. The beds had linens that were hotel quality. Thank you for having us!

This was our third stay at Tallulah House… it has become our home away from home! Beautiful location, open floor plan, has everything we (or anyone) would need and lovely local hosts :-)

My wife and I had a weekend getaway. This was the perfect cabin for a couple to getaway from all the hustle of life and wind down. The cabin had everything we needed including a Hot tub. For me the best thing was the location!!! Very private and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this cabin. The host James was very prompt to any questions I had. If you are a couple looking for a quiet relaxing time look no further.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Everything about this cabin was amazing. I’ll start with the hosts - they literally thought of everything when it comes to their home and the information they provide. They were super responsive and really great to work with. The cabin itself was so incredibly clean. The views — absolutely beautiful. The cabin was super comfortable — it even had hot water and the temperature inside the cabin was well maintained (which we haven’t always had in our previous cabin stays elsewhere). The drive up to the cabin was easy, even in a minivan! I can’t recommend this cabin enough - you won’t be disappointed!

This is our second time staying here and we just absolutely love our stay every time. It's a beautiful, comfortable home with stunning views that you'll absolutely fall in love with. We come down for a car event called Wookies in the Woods and we are able to have 8 cars in the driveway for our stay. Bryan also added a pressure washer this year which made cleaning our vehicles for the event so effortless. We absolutely love staying here, and will continue to recommend it to everyone. Bryan, thank you for everything!

This home was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Our group drove very low cars, which made accessing the main driveway a bit tricky, but the upper driveway worked perfectly for us. 10/10, we would definitely stay again. It's the best place we've found in the area!
