We booked for our Quality Director for a week long business trip, from checking in to checking out it was an absolute pleasure. The apartment is perfect for short or long stays, the hosts are very responsive and make sure the stay is a pleasure. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.

This was our third time staying at The Salt Box and we had another great stay! The property is beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The location is convenient with the beachfront a short walk or drive away. We love the peaceful atmosphere with sliding doors opening the lounge to the private garden / pool area. Dining in is a breeze with everything we needed provided for. The furniture and beds are comfortable and views from upstairs never get old. Ame and Spencer are amazing hosts and are always super responsive and friendly. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras they provide. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Mark and Nicky are amazing hosts and make you feel at home in their cottage without being intrusive or crossing boundaries. Issues were dealt with very quickly and Mark is very responsive in communicating. The unit is set in a peaceful and beautiful suburb and is close to wine estates, parks, a sports complex, shops and restaurants. We started of as strangers but after 30 days left as good friends. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

We had a very comfortable stay. The house is spacious and we particularly valued the secure off street parking which fitted our overlanding vehicle. Stewart and Denise are lovely hosts and very quick to respond to any requests.

what a gem! The guest suite is beautiful. Brian was welcoming and full of local information which was invaluable. We visited a few of the recommended vineyards as well as local restaurants and cafes and they did not disappoint. Highlights included Vrede en Lust for brunch, The French bistro for dinner and The Blue Correander for a curry. The Mad Hatter was a great spot to have a relaxing drink whilst listening to live music. Thank you Brian for welcoming us to your beautiful area. Hope to return to do more of the recommendations!

The space was perfect for me, it's ideally situated for access to almost everything that Stellenbosch offers. Izette is a wonderful host and communication was easy. The interior has everything you need, especially the coffee! Couldn't have asked for a better place! Will recommend!

Annette was very responsive and easy about check in and check out times. We had a very peaceful stay, the home was safe and having a space to park my car was a plus. It was a great experience and worth the money!

WOW! What an incredible stay we had here. It was just perfect. The view with the wine yards and the olive trees were perfectly for a walk. Felt like a princess for one night. If we could, we would marry here instantly. A big thanks to the onsite housemanager owen, he do an absolutely perfect job. We come back.

I needed a nest to hide, hibernate and cure my jet lag, Louise and Emile provided me not just a temporary spot for a few days, they provided a home. They are not just running an Air BnB they are actually hospitable and extremely welcoming and accommodating. They made me feel soo welcome I actually felt like they are my family. The space is perfect, tranquil and the pastel colors of the space was perfect for my needs of a tranquil space. Everything spotless and soo clean. If you overthink like me and think 10times before making a decision, you don’t have to with this Air BnB you are good to go. They have two friendly dogs that will come say hi every morning, they check on you now and then and they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is 5 star. Neighborhood is quiet and safe, you can walk to closest deli and coffee shop for some necessities. Thank you Emile, Louise i actually did not want to leave. All the best with everything.

My stay was excellent. The hosts were flexible and understanding, and went the extra mile for us. The room was secure and easy to check in to, and was very tidy and quiet at night. The aircon was amazing, and the room was very dark at night, making for an awesome nights sleep. Communication with the hosts via AirBnB messaging was very quick.

Our stay was short, but we enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful surroundings. Had everything we needed. Was nice having a cosy place to return to on a cold and wet weekend in Stellenbosch. Mary is a very helpful host.

My father stayed here for a while and really enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. He said Adriaan was very accommodating and he had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay at Maryna’s place. Enough room to relax on the balcony, in the kitchen or in the tv room. Lovely bathrooms and in a lovely area.

We travelled for a wedding nearby - Fiona and Martin very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Never too busy to greet and see that we were comfortable. Location excellent for shopping and touring Stellenbosch, Somerset West. Loved the views and the swimming pool. But most of all, the friendliness of all at Acara stood out and will bring us back 😀

A visit to Jane's place allowed access to tranquil surroundings and views of the mountains surrounding Somerset West! A morning Nespresso on the patio was the perfect start to anyone's day and the hosts are friendly, inviting and take genuine interest in your comfort and convenience. With all the amenities of home it was an excellent base of operations for our stay. It is well equipped, clean, comfortable, easy to find and ideally located with on site (off-street) parking big enough for a double cab Hilux bakkie being a huge plus!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but I wish I had booked a longer one. I will be coming back. Louise is an awesome host. Very friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, and luxurious stay, I highly recommend it.

You get exactly what you see. We felt right at home! The suite is extremely spacious and modern. Leon is also a great host who goes the extra mile in communication and accommodating to your requirements. We will definitely be back.

Antoinette's home is lovingly cared for, spacious and very comfortable. The bed is super comfortable with crisp linens, we slept well every night. The kitchen is large and has every imaginable appliance and gadget one could need. We especially loved the barista style coffee machine and the gas bbq. The large garden is beautiful and peaceful. We spent 2 weeks in Wellington and enjoyed our time relaxing at the house in between visiting the many wineries in the region. Driving the Bainskloof Pass was worth it for the fabulous views over the entire area. We enjoyed chatting with Antoinette and she was always available if we had any questions. I enjoyed my stay at Riana's place. She is the kindest,most responsive and generous host. My room was clean and had all the amenities listed. I even got free chocolate,tea,coffee,milk and cornflakes as well as a laundry service. I will definitely be back next time im in Capetown.
