Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sterling

Just stayed this weekend!! it was 4 of us staying and spacious and accommodating for all of us!! 100% recommend, hosts were absolutely amazing!! Beautiful space and great if you have a pet!! We definitely want to stay here again!

Really nice place off a quiet street in Bolivar/Harper’s Ferry. Very clean and exactly as advertised. Hosts provided great instructions and it was easy to access and enter. Convenient to hiking trails and sight seeing. Would stay here again and recommend.

This place was perfect! The term cozy is an understatement. From the yard and throughout the home this place was so welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs. The bathroom was spotless and the heated floors were glorious. Best 3 nights sleep we have had on this road trip. my husband was ready to steal the mattress and linens. Our pups loved the large fenced in yard.

We had a short but nice stay here! We really appreciated the quick responses and thorough explanations of everything. We also appreciated the cookies and couple of waters that we so desperately needed after such a long trip! The place itself is just how it looks in pics and isn’t too far away from the downtown area ☺️

This home in Harper's Ferry was everything and more as described in the listing. We had plenty of room. The beds are roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. I loved the polished cement floors as well as the eclectic artwork and decorations. We enjoyed mornings on the deck and our walks to visit Harper's Ferry.

One of the coolest Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Loved the vibe, the wall of windows looking at the trees, and super comfy beds. Would defiantly stay here again.

Very peaceful, a place to get away and relax. Restful. Grounds are well cared for.

We loved the area. The house was very clean and we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed coming back to the house after the horse show and just relaxing. We hope to book it for next year.

Harmony Lodge was the perfect getaway to relax with my husband and our dog. The lodging itself is clean, quiet, and well equipped for a vacation weekend . The kitchenette is cozy but has all of the basic utensils and several options to cook food. The bedrooms were spacious. Upstairs the loft is a great spot to unwind. The pool was just as idyllic as it looks in the pictures. But the best part is how ideal her property is set up for dogs. The smartly fenced off areas between the pool, her home, and our entrance was the best experience I have had renting a space while traveling with my pup. Elisa was very respectful of our privacy but also a super friendly host. We enjoyed chatting with her and meeting her pups. We found plenty to do within ~20 minutes of the property: hiking, birding, tasty places to eat and found some good beer. I can't recommend Harmony Lodge enough for anyone looking to unwind with their dog AND enjoy the luxury of a swim!

Dmytro’s place was clean and comfortable. We liked that it is an end unit townhouse and didn’t hear any sound from the neighbors.

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

Cute & spacious boho apartment. My family of 5 was very comfortable inside. Metro & restaurants were close by (5 min or less walk). Free parking pass was great. Currently there is a lot of construction happening in the parking garage and on the street but it wasn’t too loud and once you got used to the few streets that were closed it was easy to drive and walk around the neighborhood.

My husband and I stayed here right after we hot married and it was the most lovely experience! It was an absolute blast, I wouldn’t have changed a thing except I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Maud was so sweet and I loved having her as a host. Cannot recommend enough!

Such a beautiful place, the yard is peaceful and pristine. VERY spacious apartment/ studio! Comfortable bed!. We had a great stay!

Martha's place is a lovely retreat. There is enough privacy between the main house and the guest house. The guest house is spacious and comfortable with a great screened in porch and access to the pool. It's in a quiet and peaceful area. I look forward to coming back again.

My family (spouse, toddler and newborn +pets) stayed at Kathryn’s for several months. We felt right at home. The house had lots of toys for my toddler to enjoy and we used the basement room as a dedicated play room. Great living space, comfortable bedrooms and a great location. Kathryn and her husband were both very responsive and helpful. Whether you are staying for a few nights or long-term like my family, I would highly recommend this place for the location and family friendly stay.

We had such a wonderful time at Arun's place. The property is a private oasis accessible to downtown Leesburg and easy to find. From the moment we got to Arun's place, everything was a retreat. Arun was very responsive when I had questions or had trouble using the door code. The house was incredibly clean and there was space for everyone in our group of 8 to have their own space, while also having big enough common areas both inside and outside to have the whole group together. The kitchen was fairly stocked as well. This house is truly such a great spot if you are looking to do a weekend away with a large group - we wish we could've stayed longer and enjoyed the property more. If we could give 6 stars we would! Jessica was incredibly communicative throughout the trip, and gave us wonderful directions for finding the Airbnb in the middle of the night after our flight was delayed. The Owl’s Nest itself was one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. You are truly immersed in the woods, with a beautiful balcony extending into the trees for a full panoramic view. Although we were only there for a quick visit, we will be returning to enjoy a longer stay sometime soon!

Beautiful property with a mix of short- and long-term rentals—green, well-maintained, and even nicer than the photos suggest. The cottage has three apartments, and this one is on the ground level. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the cozy, family-like vibe of the place. While the apartment is on the smaller side, it’s comfortable for one or two people. Communication with the host was excellent—any questions or concerns were addressed promptly and kindly. Just a heads-up about the location: traffic to and from Leesburg (about a 20-minute drive) can get heavy during morning and evening rush hours. That said, it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy nature while still being close to town.

This was truly the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at! It was so peaceful out in the country and a ton of beautiful scenery . Such creativity to keep the forge period correct but modernly comforting was more than I could have asked for. We had great communication with the host, absolutely no issues and the history of the farm made the stay even more memorable. We rode by bike along the C&O, Jessica made sure we got back safely and this overnight was exactly what we needed! Thanks

We absolutely loved staying at Timothy’s place, the history of this farm home was well presented, and we loved the fact that it was still part of a family story. It was great to have the historical one room school house next-door. It was extremely clean and well organized, and well stocked, we particularly loved the screened in porch where we had our coffee and could visit during the day. Both of the bathrooms were very nice as well as the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

From the moment I set foot on the property my heart skipped a beat. Everything about our stay was a perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. All the practical things comfortable bed, cold ac, hot shower, well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, big windows for taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the bison. Getting into town was an easy 15min drive if you wish. But I never wanted to leave. I could not have wished for a better view of the bison. I watched them come out into the pasture every morning, sun bathe, munch on grass, roll in the dirt, and retire up the hill each evening. This was the most amazingly relaxing couple of days and more than I could have dreamed. I cannot wait to return.

I’m going to sound like an ad here but I can’t help it; this AirBNB is *that* good. The location is great - very close to IAD and main highways, but you wouldn’t know it because the place feels so secluded and picturesque nestled in a neighborhood full of charming homes and big yards and lush trees. Very thorough instructions from the host beforehand with easy keyless entry. The first thing we noticed about the house when we walked in was its charming craftsman finishes, attractive and spacious layout and BEAUTIFUL kitchen (complete with high-end appliances). Out the living-room windows a big pretty fenced lawn, out the kitchen windows a nest of baby birds in a darling birdhouse! We got in late at night and woke the next morning feeling very well-rested. Such comfy mattresses, pillows and soft down quilts! We came to visit family in Sterling but they ended up visiting us at our Airbnb more often than not because it was such a great place to be. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
