Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Stillwater

We decided on Stillwater as a fun place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our two kids from Oregon and Colorado. We were specifically looking for a place that was in a beautiful setting near water. Bryan's listing was a perfect match! We loved watching the birds at the feeders, enjoyed time on the patio and enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening. Lots of large windows let us gaze at the incredible view of the lake. We invited a few local friends and family to join us for an anniversary open house and Byran put extra leaves in the dining table and got out folding chairs for our guests before we arrived. I am so unbelievably pleased with our stay at this property! The photos do not fully encompass the beauty of the view. There are so many areas for a group to enjoy. 10/10 experience and will absolutely stay here again!

This was a fantastic place to stay. It is right on the river and is in a very quiet neighborhood. There is a wonderful dock with the place and there is a marina with boat ramp and rentals about 500 feet away. We fished off of the dock all week and caught Drum, Walleye, and Perch. Hudson WI is 5 minutes away and Stillwater MN is about 15 minutes away. Both towns are full of good restaurants and shops.

My stay was amazing. The beds and pillows were the comfiest I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The backyard was beautiful and a wonderful spot to enjoy lunch. Close enough to downtown Stillwater and we were down there every day. Thanks, Haley!

Joanne was awesome and super easy to deal with. My group and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was super close to Downtown Stillwater and worked perfect for our group. Everyone loved the space of the place and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy their time. Overall, it was a perfect place to stay for myself and my group and would definitely stay here again!

We are so thankful to this couple for our short stay! Their home was very unique and comfortable. I highly recommend it! Everything you need is exactly where it should be! (Husband couldn’t find the extra toilet paper — I told him it had to be in the bathroom & of course I found it… in the bathroom LOL 🙃) only thing I regret was not checking in earlier! What a cool spot!

So much better than a hotel - my family put together a puzzle, had a fire by the lake, played games with laughter and privacy, Grampa took a nap on the screen porch, money saved by cooking and had fun doing it in a kitchen ready for anything! Everything we needed was there and more- plus labels made even light switches clear at first glance! The best comment was - "I could stay here a week!" - and the photos will be memory keepers of birds in the trees and deer across the lake and mostly my family caring for one another.

We stayed here a week for my daughter’s wedding! Missie was the perfect host! She greeted us on arrival and went above and beyond to meet some needs that popped up for us! Loved being able to get away from it all! So relaxing and beautiful!

What a wonderful stay! My husband and I spent a week scouting neighborhoods for our upcoming move to the area, and this was a perfect place central to everything we needed. Brenda and Brian were very responsive, and it's apparent that they put a lot of thought into the unit. We bumped into Brian the day before our departure (they live in the downstairs unit) when he was working in the garage, and had a lovely conversation. You can tell they really enjoy hosting, and we will absolutely recommend friends and family book this when they come to visit us after our move. The parking spot in the back is a great bonus, and we felt very safe here. There's a busy street nearby, but we weren't ever really bothered by traffic noise inside. We walked around the neighborhood at night and felt very safe as well. Lovely tree lined streets all around too.

Bob & Lisa’s home was very beautiful & we felt right at home! Bob came out & greeted us soon as we got there, showed us around, & we’re always willing to help if needed! They are such wonderful hosts! We’ll definitely be back in the future!(:

This was a great space. Comfortable beds and furniture, and some great restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. Totally great space! No complaints at all.

Everything was lovely! Only thing, and I could have missed this, I was not aware it was a duplex and we were slightly worried we would be too loud. When we arrived Debbie’s mother greeted us immediately to let us know that if we needed anything she was downstairs. The home was beautiful, and overall no complaints.

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

Andy was everything you could ask for in a host. He was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. His place is lovely and very clean! The bed and linens in the main bedroom were extremely comfortable! The back yard had many unique features that, unfortunately, I ran out of time to take advantage of - next time for sure! Andy provides many thoughtful touches including a guidebook to the unit and surrounding area. So many interesting restaurants and things to do within walking distance and close to major highways when a car is needed. I highly recommend a stay here!

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay in Zimmerman was a wonderful break with our grandkids and kids. There is plenty of space, the location on the lake is fantastic and the amenities are great. Lots of bathroom items, kitchen was well stocked and the place had lots of extra blankets which was very much appreciated for early morning boat rides or sipping coffee on the deck.

The house was incredibly comfortable with multiple outdoor options from the front porch to the back porch, garage with pool table and other games, dock, swing, and fire pit. The beds were all comfortable and there were extra sitting areas inside that made it seamless to have the whole family there for the weekend.

Excellent place to stay. Jen is a rockstar and is so helpful and generous. Perfect cabin for a stay.

This Airbnb is gorgeous! Such a warm and cozy space, very luxurious but still felt safe. The host gave very clear instructions in their guide, and accessing everything was very easy; additionally, the host responded incredibly fast when needed. I definitely hope to stay here again!

Quaint and beautiful cabin setting. Lots to do around the area especially for avid climbers, hikers and nature explorers. The sauna was a blast and the beds were extremely comfortable. The aframe was very cozy and a great place to unwind and unplug. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. Kayla and Josh were extremely responsive and flexible.

Our stay at Keith’s was great! Views of the water were wonderful. Check in was easy with the keypad, kitchen was well stocked, Keith was quick to respond when we couldn’t find things or needed help with the grill. As noted in the pictures and his description, one of the bedrooms does not have a door on it, and the walls don’t go all the way up to the ceiling. It gets all the noise of the living room/kitchen but it worked for us. We loved the kayaks and Keith even had a child life jacket! The water quality in the lake varied - not as appealing as I was hoping for swimming on our first two days but we had fun kayaking around the lake and after it rained on our last night, the water was much clearer the day we checked out. Note that part of check out is put all towels and sheets into the washer and start the washer. I don’t love that because inevitably I realize one has been forgotten and then have to figure out how to stop the cycle and add an item, but this is minor. Great stay!

A very nice place to stay for a weekend in Stillwater. The log cabin house is homey with wonderful views of Bass Lake. Robert meet us when we got there and went through the house and answered all of our questions. Would definitely stay there again.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for in our vacation- fun, quaint, peaceful vibes with beautiful surroundings. We loved the details in the cabin, and the recommendations for things to do and places to visit were perfect.
