Christine's Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). We call it a cottage, but it's [now] a super well-built house with 100+ acres of fields, pond and trails to explore! An Ontario Parks summer pass is included for your use. When you book you'll see that HST is added to your nightly rate and cleaning fee, and a Municipal Accommodations Tax is added to your nightly rate only. Stays longer than 29 days are exempt from both of these taxes.
