The cabin warms up with a fireplace and air heat pump. Running cold water and electricity are available all year. The cottage of 40 sqm is made up of a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed, living room with sofa bed, dining table and fireplace. TV and DVD are available. Bathroom and toilet are not provided. There is outdoor toilet and easy outdoor shower. Bring your own wood. Feel the peace and quiet!

Boat is available for quiet tours in Sörsjön (guest fishing cards are available to borrow) several swimming areas are all within walking distance from the cottage. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop 4 min walk. The house is timbered in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from the death of the wastehouse when it was moved here. The decor is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Älv-Hyddan

Welcome to this cozy nest at the Dalälven edge, 5 km outside Hedemora. Grill on the patio, sauna and take a swim from your own jetty. Indoors there is a modern kitchen, toilet with shower, fireplace, TV and wifi. The sauna is wood-fired and the plot bathes in the sun in the mornings, sun all the way into the afternoon down on the jetty. Firewood and canoe are on site for a fee. One bedroom with double bed, and one 140cm sofa bed upstairs. Ps. Watch the water for the beaver at night

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.
