Your deck has a magnificent view of the ocean that has the highest tides in the world and comes complete with Adirondack chairs and a dining area allowing you to sit back and enjoy the fresh salt air and the magnificent view. This cottages is also wheelchair accessible. Their are two other cottages on the property. Our Nautical theme cottage and our Contemporary themed cottage.

The Beach House

No cleaning fees. The Beach House is less than 15 min. from Digby & The Pines Golf Course. It is the perfect base for your whale watching trip, exploring Annapolis, Kejimkujik, Bear River or Digby Neck, but make sure you leave time to relax on the deck. Watch the fishing boats come and go, you may even see whales. Comb our rocky, cobblestone shoreline for sea glass or that special rock. Swim our cold, clear water if you dare! Digby is a fishing port so there is always lots to see there too.

We at Turning Tides know that people are going through a lot right now. We want to encourage folks to: get out of their apartments, get out of the city, stay safe and sane somewhere you can have some space! Use our kayaks to enjoy the famous Bay of Fundy that’s located steps away. Or take in the tides from the back deck while you BBQ some dinner. Come have a fire! Salmonwood Cottage is a two bedroom, one bathroom, rental nestled along the shore of Salmon Lake in Yarmouth County. You can enjoy all nature has to offer while benefiting from the comforts of modern living. The pet-friendly cottage comes with a washer/dryer, heat pump, woodstove, WiFi, Bell Satellite and can sleep up to four people. Enjoy your morning coffee on the large lake-side front deck, explore the area on foot or by kayak, and finish your day under the stars next to a roaring bonfire.

The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed - excellent for traveling with children. A 10 min walk through the woods is required to get from the parking lot to the cabin.
